Great Food - Cooked Perfect!

I can't say enough about this place. Food is excellent and menu has something for everyone. We have to go back as there are several things we want to try. Fish was prepared superb. Service is super. Wine choices were great and priced reasonably. Try it yourself! Like no other place in Atlanta.

My husband and I had dinner here last Friday night. I really loved the atmosphere at Rathbun's, very cool, industrial chic and they carry my favorite but not necessarilly well known wine. Our waiter was a little snooty but the service was very good. The food was outstanding and the place was packed.

We came here a few years ago (before Kevin appeared on Iron Chef and other TV appearances). We loved everything. Kevin is great. It may be a little pricey for some but is well worth it. Next time we go to Dallas we are trying his brother Kent Rathbun's restaurant (Abacus).

Martinis really very good. Pork Belly Tacos mild but pleasant. Duck breast quite muted in flavor. Flat iron steak gristly throughout. Deserts average. Service good. Noise level close to unbearable -- a wave of loud conversation noise, reflecting all over. We had to literally lean a few inches apart to hear each other. It quieted down a bit as the... More

Our table of four has been on a tour of good Atlanta restaurants over the last year. Portofino, Local Three, and Rathbun's are our most recent stops, and we really enjoyed our meal at Rathbun's recently. The ingredients seemed very fresh, making it easy for the chef to show off his considerable skills. We really enjoyed the eggplant steak fires... More

Why spend huge amounts of money for average food at expensive prices. Maybe the kitchen is better earlier in the evening but we were so disappointed in the food, service and LOUD atmosphere. Even the coffee was horrible. I asked for a different cup twice and it tasted like watered down, reheated coffee. You can't hear the people that are... More

The food was fantastic as was the service! We were really glad we made reservations, even thought it was early on a Thursday night. The wine list is slightly small, but the Malbec was fantastic. Will visit again.

Rathbun's is always one of the places my husband chooses when entertaining clients because the menu is diverse enough to please everyone's tastes. I love the lobster tacos and when soft shell crabs are in season, I could eat there every night they are so good. I am even on their mailing list so I will know when they arrive.... More
