My wife and I came here for a relaxing night away from it all and we made the right choice for sure. i had only been here one other time and it was so much better in a smaller setting. Every dish was just as described and more! So fresh and so perfectly cooked! A must go! Very friendly and... More

Rathbun's ranks among one of Atlanta's best restaurants. This fun, creative, and energetic restaurant always delivers exceptional service with cuisine to match. I try to dine here once a month (it would be more if I lived closer) and have never had a bad experience in the 8+ years I have been frequenting Rathbun's. Quite honestly, I am always surprised... For the non-native Atlantan, I imagine it is not the easiest location to find, but our taxi driver knew where it was but took us on a scenic route to find it (as opposed to our return taxi driver who got us back to the hotel in a third of the time it took the first guy). But, that having... More

Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Extensive wine list. Would suggest a reservation on for the weekend, it got busy fairly quickly. Our server was knowledgable on different wines and made good suggestions with meal pairings.

We recently went to Rathbun's for the first time. We have heard many great reviews, so we chose Rathbun's to celebrate my husband's birthday. For dinner, I chose the pork belly appetizer, and scallops with cheese grits as my entree. The pork belly was served with ponzu sauce, which was an interesting combination. It was good, but I will probably... More

We were treated by friends. We ordered drinks from the bar - very good. Our friends had brought a bottle of wine for dinner from a small private vineyard. The server advised that we would need to share a glass with the chef if we wanted to have it with dinner. What??!!! We're from CA and our friends asked us... More

5* normally - when its busy, I.e. valentines day, not quite up to par. The food was not quite as good, nor was service.

This is one of our favorite fine dining spots in Atlanta. The food is always consistently great including numerous appetizers, small plates and entrees. An excellent wine list provides numerous choices and price ranges. Our favorites include the lobster taco and any of their fresh fish selections. Wonderful friendly service always accompanies a memorable meal here.

A classy atmosphere in a rather strange location rate buns serves interesting southern cooking with a sophisticated twist. You need a taxi to get here and get them to order a return one well before you need it. Scallops were delicious. Try the bacon donut for desert. Yum
