College Graduation celebration

Our family went for dinner to celebrate my son's graduation. We actually had a table by the window so the view of the river was great. We all ordered steaks and were pleased, shrimp cocktail, salads, sides and dessert. All were good. Praline dessert was awesome. Very pricey but a great place... read more

We hadn't been to Ray's for brunch in some time and really wanted to do it on Easter. We were lucky enough to get on the list for a table so we didn't have to wait. The quantity and quality of food were both fabulous. The servers and the kitchen staff did an excellent job keeping everything fresh. Afterwards we... More

I have been to Ray's on the River quite a few times a few years ago. I went again this week and was disappointed. I ordered a small salad and grilled salmon. The salad was very droopy and unexciting. The salmon was very strange. It was deep orange and stringy. I couldn't cut it with my fork. Not sure what... More

This place was very nice. I went for the first time to celebrate my first Mothers Day this year. Of course it was very busy but worth it. The brunch buffet was AWESOME! They had a good variety of food out reservation was at 4pm so there were less breakfast items at this time but still a great selection plus... More

For me this is a top tier restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, views can be great if you're near the windows, and service is solid. However, the thing that really separates this place from the rest is the food. It really is incredible. Everything tastes fresh and super made to order. Depending on when you get there you can park... More

OK, honestly, I struggled with this rating. There were some things that were really great and other things that were really disappointing. With the prices on the menu, service ought to be impeccable. And, it is not. Our drinks arrived after our appetizers, and the bread arrived after that. Empty appetizer plates were left on the table after entrees were... More

We showed up for a nice dinner with my grandson and his parents. Right next to the river we sat out on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful evening. The service was magnificent and the food was wonderful. The best calamari I can ever remember having. Our table was filled with perfectly cooked steaks and salmon. The only critique would... More

I moved to Atlanta in 1991 and have been to Ray's on the River numerous times. Saturday, May 9th, we decided to celebrate Mothers Day and a Birthday for lunch. The staff is excellent, we were greeted and sat immediately at one of the tables overlooking the river. Bloody Mary's and Mimosas were delivered quickly and the food came out... More

The setting along the Chattahoochee River is idyllic...peaceful and lush. Outdoor seating is perfect almost any time of the year. Amid the peaceful setting, the interior is modern and classy. A great wine list is only outdone by an amazing menu featuring awesome seafood dishes and great steaks. The side dishes are worth the trip. Make sure to try several.... More

Rays on the River has delicious food as well as views of the water. The food is unusually prepared with great selections of beef and seafood. Appetizers are wonderfully prepared with a wide selection of items like oysters Rockefeller and other seafood.
