Best Mexican Period

This is by far the Best Mexican food in Atlanta and possibly one of the best in the country. Small place with an authentic feel and cuisine. The Margaritas are top notch - I recommend the Cadillac. It can be very busy at peak times, but it is well worth the wait. I eat here about once a month... read more

We visited Nuevo Laredo with family who live in the area and were pleasantly surprised. The location is unassuming, but the decor inside was pretty authentic. We are Texans - and eat a whole ton of TexMex - and were honestly not expecting much. The salsa was yummy, and the chips were great for guacamole, but the guacamole itself was... More

This spot was recommended by a friend when we were in the Atlanta area and we were pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty and the salsa is by far the best! If you enjoy Mexican food then worth the drive. We waited until midday so no waiting in long lines. So many flavorful items that are freshly prepared. We... More

Just stopped by for a quick lunch with my sister last Saturday and we were very impressed! From the outside it looks like a whole in the wall but the amount of cars parked in the lot tells you that it's good before even entering. We were st right away...it was crowded, but hey that means everyone wants to eat... More

I've been coming here for years. When I first moved to Atlanta in the '90s it was hard to find a decent Tex Mex place. I found one here. It's better than decent it's great. Parking is limited. Get there early. We arrived at 11am and in 15 minutes it was packed. I love any of their enchiladas and the... More

By far favorite restaurant for wife and I. We've easily gone here a little less than once a month, on average, for the past 3 or 4 years. If you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, get there before 6 to beat the crowds or better yet, get there at dinner hour but grab a drink and sit and... More

NL has been dependable Mexican spot in Atlanta for years. Frequently crowded with long waits, they do a tremendous business no doubt because of their good food that's reliably good. Tacos are stuffed full, fajitas outstanding, The plates are chocked full and delicious. Service is pretty good to average. It takes some time to get drinks refilled, but the service... More

I have been to this restaurant several times while in Atlanta on business and enjoy the food, atmosphere, and the margaritas. I have tried tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas during my visits. The staff is eager to please and the food arrives extremely quick. If you plan to go during the latter portion of the week for dinner be prepared to... More

I have eaten here so many times when living in Atlanta and it is always the first place I want to go when I visit. Whatever you choose, you always get great food. On top of that, their salsa is really good and the margaritas are the best around. A truly outstanding place to eat.

My family and I enjoy eating at Nuevo Laredo Cantina when we visit Atlanta. It has a festive atmosphere and good fajitas. The margarita selection is good.
