Took some friends here for their first time, I have been several times. The service is really good, the food is consistently done well. The portions are huge and the price is worth every penny. The wait can be a little long especially on Friday and Saturday nights but well worth it. This evening I had the fajitas which were... More

Bartenders at the Marriott turned us on to this place and it will forever live on as a favorite place. On long weekends I find myself thinking I could hop a quick flight to Atlanta and head to Nuevo Laredo for a great meal. Like the bartender said, if you didn't know it was there, you might drive right on... More

This is a class Mexican Restaurant. It is often very busy and catching an off hour will speed your arrival at a table. The food is a complex mixture of Mexican spices and they will put so much food on your plate it will be a challenge to eat it all. Everything I have eaten here was excellent. They have... More

This place has the best lobster tacos that I have ever eaten. ITs the only thing that I get there now. I love their salsa its very cilantro-y. Its always crowded which tells you how great it is. Its loud and crazy inside but authentic in the sense that the wait staff hardly speaks english and is a bit lacking... More

I've been going to, and turning people on to Nuevo Laredo for years, and I'll tell you why! To start with, MJ & the entire staff are Fabulous! Patricia makes a mean Margarita at the bar, for starters. Once you order your meal and start eating, you'll fully understand why I love this place so much. Beginning with the homemade... More

Based on several meals at Nuevo Laredo I have to say the food is OK and worth eating but the crowded conditions and noise make enjoying the meal a bit difficult. Great that the place enjoys success but the wait and overall experience detracts from a nice meal. Worth going but don't expect a relaxing dining experience.

I am a Texan so I really miss my Tex Mex dishes here in the deep South. Nuevo Laredo Cantina is a terrific place to get real Tex Mex without having to go to Texas! Delicious enchiladas and tacos (try the brisket tacos - yummmm!!!) and the salsa is delicious! Great margaritas too!

Food is good, average for the price. Popular venue, dishes are pre-prepared, microwaved to respond to their high volume (this is pretty common & should not be considered screening criteria if deciding to eat here). Rated this avg when compared to small town family owned establishments tucked away around the US. Price for two with tip was ~$60 a little... More

We had only our kindergarten aged son, and he decided that he wanted Mexican to celebrate a good first year of school. We had know Nuevo Laredo to be closed on Sunday but were pleasantly surprised that it is now open. Terrific chips, salsa and queso. They serve quality food, very tasty frozen margaritas, and the service is very friendly.... More
