Not sure how anyone initially found this place, as it is certainly off the beaten path, but once you've had the food you WILL be back. Best to get there before 6 as the restaurant is relatively small and the lines to get in can be long after 6. Although I have had several items on their menu anything, but... More

I have been traveling to Atlanta on business for over 25 years - and - I thought I was aware of all of the "best spots" in town for food (I even go all the way back to when "Aunt Fanny's Restaurant" was still in Marietta) - how did I miss "Nuevo Laredo Cantina" ??? What a charming warm atmosphere... More

My wife and I love to stop by Nuevo, when we need a quick delicious meal. Everything I have eaten there is good. I have been eating the chicken fajita salad recently. It is a great lighter option if you are not in the mood for traditional Mexican food.

My family and I visited for dinner. It's a small place with a small parking lot. The inside is tight, be prepared to be very close to other diners. Unfortunately I was not terribly impressed by the food. Neither were my family members. The food was good, but there was nothing that stood out. We tried the pork tacos, the... More

Had a late lunch here yesterday. This is a very small place and I think always jammed, but the service is excellent and the food was terrific. Very highly rated, and with good reason. Interestingly, they serve Pepsi - which I thought was against the law in Atlanta. Full bar service, GREAT Margaritas and traditional Mexican dishes - a fairly... More

I've been hearing for years that this is one of the best Mexican places in Atlanta. And that's hard to believe because there are so many great restaurants in Atlanta. But we were finally in the area around dinner time so we checked it out. The rumors were definitely true! We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated... More

A couple of us came here for lunch, and I was opposed to it from the beginning. After leaving there I remember why that was. The food is not that great and overpriced, and on top of that the servers treat you like you kicked their dog or cat. Not worth it. I recommend La Hacienda, El Mexicano or Bone... More

We've been going to Nuevo Laredo for many years and have always had a superb meal. The staff is fabulous - personable and prompt - top notch. It's definitely our 'go to' spot where we take visitors and recommend if anyone is looking for a place to eat. Recommendations: Chicken mole, grilled chicken quesadillas, tacos carne asada, pork tacos and... More
