Great Margaritas!

The margaritas are a little pricey but worth it. The food is delicious and the service is great. We had to wait for a table because they won't seat you unless everyone in your party has arrived. It's a small place and not a lot of room to stand to wait if it's cold outside. In the warmer months... read more

Went here for lunch and absolutely love this place. The food is fresh, the portions are ample, and the drinks are fabulous! Had the lobster quesadillas and they were full of succulent lobster meat, onions and peppers, and cheese. It is little pricey but well worth it. The salsa for the chips is great. Not to thick and full of... More

I love this place but today was awful. I picked this for birthday dinner even though I would have to wait close to an hour. It's usually fun and delicious. However tonight the service Sucked and the food was cold. I was literally elbowed at the bar and the bartender took their order over mine. We waited outside and they... More

Once you get seated, the food and service are great. You can order the usual tacos, enchiladas & burrito, but why bother when there are so many more interesting items on the menu The server nikki was attentive and friendly. The flour tortillas were tasty. The cheese dip was too. Overall i rate 4.5 out of 5

We waited a little bit to be seated... Well worth the wait! How interesting to be in an authentic Mexican cantina atmosphere. Everyone was tucked in close with the fantastic aroma of salsa and chips - mouth watering. Great service- fantastic menu. The walls were covered in eclectic art works that represented the owners' life, friends, and the Mexican culture.... More

I had high hopes for this place based on it's many awards over the years. It was packed when I arrived for lunch on a Friday so I suppose people like it. I thought the ambience was a cross between shabby chic and a roadside cantina in Mexico. The salsa was fresh and excellent. The rice and beans we ordered... More

Although located in an of the beaten path location, this homey , comfortable Mexican eatery is not your typical taco and burrito joint. The Sangria is terrific and the chicken with mole sauce is perfection

Reality is iconoclastic . . . or, put another way: experience shatters expectations. I have heard of Nuevo Laredo's excellence for years. A few days ago, I visited this iconic Mexican restaurant with my family for the first time. We had a good time, and the staff is very friendly, but I have no intention of returning a second time.... We went here for a friend's birthday and there were 8 of us. The hostess will tell you that ALL of your party must be present in order to be seated. A little inconvenient, but that's their rules. Signs are posted they can split checks for credit card payments up to 4 cards. Again, a little inconvenient. We understood that... More
