Good food, small space

Good food. Friends travel from far and near to eat here, but I don't think its worth all that. Dining area is small and packed, so don't go if you're claustrophobic.

Many great Mexican restaurants in Atlanta, but we find this the most authentic. Salsa really is amazing, more than just a pre-dinner filler as you can see the spices and veggies in each bite, which keep you coming back throughout the meal. Our party of 4 enjoyed a beef burrito, fish tacos, chicken enchilada, brisket taco and tamale. Brisket was... More

Went here for the first time and found the Mexican food to be tasty and fresh. I had enchilada's with mole sauce and the mole was one of the best I had. My wife had the crab enchiladas and she too thought they were very good. For people commenting on their service as slow, it was not evident when we... More

I've been trying for years to eat here (the wait was always too long) but I finally made it Friday night with only a 30 minute wait! We were lucky to get a parking spot right in front. Normally you have to park across the street. We sat at the bar with a couple of beers while waiting for our... More

Great place to eat, wonderful tacos, queso dip, salsa. All fresh and made in house. Service is excellent and the margaritas are really good and reasonably prices as well as the food being reasonable.

I received a gift certificate for Christmas and was told this was the best in town. I did not use it until last month, and I can not wait to return. You feel like you are in someone's basement, but the food and service excellent.... The prices are steep, but if you want to treat yourself it will not matter!

Friends and I have enjoyed this place for a decade. We code name it Location X, so others don't overhear and say "me too", because it will make the weekday lunch wait longer. Even then, Nuevo does a great job getting you in and out. The Shrimp Tacos are incredible. All of the food is fresh and consistent and the... More

...But I ate it before I could. I am currently digesting one of the most wonderful lunches with some of the best comapany. Among the picture frames and poster clad walls, surrounded by authentic Latin atmosphere, I inhaled my shrimp tacos.

We just really love this hole in a wall Mexican Restaurant. Every time we visit Atlanta we have to go to Nuevo Laredo. Great drinks, but it's all about the food. I had for the first time the grilled shrimp (8) Tampico, just one word, fantastic! Go early and stay late!!

We saw this restaurant recommend in the Atlanta Where Dining magazine. We were pleasantly surprised they were opened on Sunday. People were waiting for the doors to open & now I know why. Great service & delicious food! I ordered the Lobster Tacos which were divine. It must have had a lobster tail & claw in each taco. Have no... More
