Think of extra thick lamb chops, flavored sufficiently so that the taste of the lamb is still the hero and cooked as you desired. Served with great veggies and ... who remembers? The lamb is all I could and can think about right now. Not to be passed on, you will be surprised at how thick this is.

As if not better than the food we had in Italy!!!! Ambiance is nice too!!! We went for our anniversary and they truly made us feel special. Will go out of my way to eat here the next time I'm in the Atlanta area.

Bread was great. Calamari was chewy and tasteless. Pork medallions wer good but not great. Chicken Parm wasn't as good. The only thing that made me queezy was paying for premium food when not getting it. Better than Olive Garden but maybe wouldn't pass the cost/benefit analysis.

I've dined at La Grotta, both their Ravinia and Mid-town locations for 20 years; but more at Ravinia the past fifteen. Never, not once, did i experience any disappointment. Their veal (no matter how they serve it) is excellent, the best i have eaten. Their antipasto is wonderful - an assortment of cheeses, cold-cuts, olives, pimentos and other items. The... More

I checked out this restaurant while staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel, where it's located. It was a Saturday night, and it was obvious there were lots of regulars there. There was a lovely band there playing standards, while couples enjoyed dancing. I found the food to be good, especially the chicken picatta, and fresh bread with olive oil for... More

It was good, but I think I overpaid for a cheeseburger. The waiter was competent and the food was good, but I thought $18 for a lunch hamburger was a bit much. They also weren't open for dinner when I went down one night, the only waiter I saw said I would have to order from room service. I wanted... More

We were always impressed with the food and service in the past. But now, not so much. The veal was good, pasta just okay and the potatoes unacceptable. Without dessert, but instead a glass of wine each (and not the best quality at that), the bill came to $100. Not worth it. Rethink going!

This place is located at the ground floor of the Crowne Plaza hotel. Although the ambiance seemed great at first - the path to the restaurant is brimming with indoor tropical plants which are maintained well, and the view from the table by the window is great as you can see more foliage and even a tiny indoor water fall... Love the food and service at this established Italian restaurant on the ground level of the Crowne Plaza Ravinia hotel. Ask for a table by the window.
