Old School Feel, Great Service, Good Food

Filled up quickly for a Tuesday night, good variety on the menu. Prime rib was very good, points off for iceberg lettuce and uninspired plating (though it does fit the old school atmosphere). Service was excellent (Amanda), wine list was limited but solid. Pricing and value on point, good choice... read more

Wanted a good steak, but did not want to pay an arm and leg. Good mix of food items. Had Kansas City Strip was excellent cooked just right. Good service, staff friendly kept coming around table to make things were right. Saw someone get a sandwich and it was big with lots of meat. I am glad I came here.

What can I say? I'm addicted to Joey d's corned beef. Drive 130 miles every 5 weeks or so to satisfy my cravings. Tender, right proportion of fat to lean, and cheaper than a trip to New York. Already looking forward to my June trip

Loved the Scotch Selection. Service was good. Was only there for a night cap and a quick desert. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and it was not crowded while there.

I was looking for some good food and one of the hotel drivers (Sonesta ES, close by) suggested Joey D's. I'll never regret accepting his suggestion because this is a very nice place with delicious meals. I had a barbecue-style beef rib which was superb, a generous piece of really soft meat with a perfectly charred outside. The caesar salad... More

This is an upscale restuarant. Most customers were wearing business atire. The restuarant had an amazing alcohol selections. The bar was actually very impressive. It had a later that reached to the ceiling and there was alcohole on shelves all the way to the top of the ceiling. The service was pretty good. The food was average. It was a... More

Just ok, chicken wings were burnt, chicken dinner was over cooked, everyone else's dinner was ok. Not a good value for the price point. Better restaurants in Dunwoody. Salads were tasteless.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. We work hard to provide delicious, fresh food at affordable prices. The chicken wings are "dry wings" not wet, and our chicken breast is cooked on a broiler, both providing unique flavors, but might not be for everyone. Thank you for your feedback. More

Reasonably priced steaks, ribs and others. Full selection of top shelf liquors at the full bar. Very popular with locals and travelers and I can see why. Great ambiance, great service, great steaks, most around $30 (not the tourist $45), and great cuts of meat.

While in Atlanta for a few days the Wife and I decided at the last minute to try an early dinner at Joey D's, which had been recommended by good friends. We arrived at 4:45PM Saturday, March 28,2015 expecting to either find the restaurant empty or needing a reservation. Though looking full, we were immediately seated in a private booth... More
