A delightful setting with outstanding food and drink. It is worth a visit just to see the bar. Well run restaurant serves the best prime rib anywhere around. Food and wine prices are reasonable. The place does not disappoint.

I started with the chargrilled oysters as an appetizer. The six of them were very good and had a strong garlic butter sauce. I kept the sauce for my steak. The house salad with honey mustard /hot bacon dressing was a wonderful surprise which included a croissant. I ordered the bone in ribeye which was delicious. I wanted to try... More

The food was very good here, but I won't be returning soon. Food isn't all that matters in a restaurant. Joey D's had odd acoustics and was just TOO LOUD. I had to ask my dining companions to repeat themselves several times and my hearing is fine. If the conversations of my fellow diners wasn't enough to compete with, the... More

I'm sorry to hear you felt the restaurant was too loud. The music is set to a volume so as to not hear the next table's conversation. Sounds like the holiday buzz was happening on your dining night. Thank you for the visit. More

My husband and I ate in the bar after the SEC championship game. One of the bartenders was extremely entertaining and put on a great show while we ate. Casesar salad and creamed spinach were below average, my fillet was pretty good, and my husband thought his wings were great. Service was fast and friendly. Huge liquor selection, so be... More

I've been wanting to try this place since discovering it while working in the area. I suggested it to hubby and I'm happy to report it was good. Pros: -honey butter Croissant rolls, like everyone else, they are good. We got it as an appetizer not knowing one also comes with the salad. -House salad with the back vinaigrette was very... More

My daughter decided to have friends and family meet her at Joey D's to help celebrate her 22nd birthday. Their atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious. The Honey Butter Croissants and the Garlic Crab Claws are a must have! She ended up having about 15 people there, and the service was incredible. It was on a Sunday, and... More

I met two colleagues at Joey D's for lunch. I had the Lasagna and my colleagues had a soup and salad combo and a grilled chicken salad. The portion size was perfect for lunch and very good. Service was excellent and we never had to ask for anything. I will definitely eat at Joey's again for lunch and will more... More

This is my go-to place for date nights. The steaks, chicken and rib (not ribs, just one rib, it's more than enough) are consistently great. The house salad and dressings are not to be missed. The prices for a steakhouse are quite reasonable. The beer selection could use improvement, but it is OK. Service is very good. There is an... More

Great steaks cooked as ordered including extra rare! Decent pricing and worth the effort. Server did a more than good job with a lot of special requests as well.
