I think I would have rated this higher if I had not been a Doc Chey regular for the past 5 years. The panko crusted chicken for kids is gone. We selected the American style chicken and rice. The black rice wasn't the least bit appealing to any child under 10 but the ketchup/bbq covered chicken was excellent. I had... More

Thur night after a long road trip we arrived here and were immediately seated. We waited a little bit for the server since the place was slammed with people but w/ the extra time we decided on what we wanted to eat. Food came out fast so I was a little skeptical BUT it was awesome!! The kids, especially the... More

OK, so totally honest here...I have not officially dined at Dragon Bowl yet (they open late July 2014). I have been a regular at Doc Chey's Noodle House at Emory Village for years, and the owners are currently converting this location into a new type of restaurant called Doc Chey's Dragon Bowl. The new place is based on the noodle... More

My friend and I stopped in for a few appetizers as I had read in the AJC it was highly rated and wanted to try it out. We had an order of dumplings, which were good and an order of shrimp spring rolls, with a sweet chili sauce. While these were crisp and not greasy, which was impressive, i found... More

Doc Chey's has great spring rolls--they are so tasty! I also had the coconut soup and Pad Thai, both of which also were wonderful…I highly recommend this inexpensive eatery!

We can't say enough good things about Doc Cheys. Simply the best. The pad Thai is a must. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

We have come here for years, at least once a month. They offer fairly consistent quality and service in a small restaurant often crowded with students and families. The ingredients are fresh, with vegetables remaining fairly crisp in the noodle dishes. The salads are large and excellent. The noodles are not mushy as is often the case with other Asian-fusion... Every time I'm down at Emory, I invariably end up here. When I worked down there every day, we'd go to Doc's 1-2 per month. The workers are probably all Emory students - it's not very ethnic. But the food is good, and everyone is so intensely happy. I have noted this phenomena at my daughter's liberal college - it's... More
