Good seafood without the sea......

Atlanta Seafood has a huge menu of fish and shellfish creatively prepared and served by a good wait staff. It ranks right up there with all those famous seaside places you hear about on the Pacific, Atlantic and Gulf coasts but without the salt air......

My husband and I had dinner here friday and we were very disappointed with our service from the time we pulled up and the valet telling us we had to park ourselves because they did not want to wait on us past their shift. We arrived at 8:15 the restaurant does not even close until 10:00! The hostess was pleasant... More

Older is not better. Just because a restaurant is a landmark does not make it better. Took my family for dinner. Big menu , the usual trappings of seafood restaurants, lots of fish on ice in glass showcases, open kitchen. But you know that there is a problem when two of the four entrees are sent back as being un-edible... More

It is always a bad experience when something is worse than you expected. From the beginning, even if we had a reservation and we were right on time, we waited to be seated. The place is were noisy, looks like a "German October Fest" eating area and you can "smell" the fish cooking !! When they gave us our table,... More

Because of my low sodium diet I order my food without salt or butter, our waiter brought out olive oil for the bread, nice touch. the waiter was very attentive some of the beat service I have had in a long time. Some have... More

My family went to celebrate my mother's birthday. We were seated as soon as our entire party arrived. I was pleased with that. We had a slight delay at the bar because the bartender told my wife he couldn't get her a lemonade since they didn't have it at the bar. He told her our server would have to get... More

It's amazing how this huge restaurant manages to consistently serve such fresh, well prepared seafood making the customer feel that the dish has been prepared especially for him/her. There are probably 200 customers or more at any one time but the layout of the restaurant is such you don't feel you're eating in a cafeteria. The service is always friendly... More

Took my nephew and his best girl to this restaurant. The food was truly awesome. The service was so so. The worst part was that I witnessed a hostess rip into a busboy. Not cool. If you need to reprimand a busboy, or anyone, there are plenty of private places to do that. That poor kid was truly embarrassed. Also... More

I'm writing this just after leaving the restaurant. On a Thursday afternoon at 4:30, I took my wife to the Atlanta Fish Market for dinner. The place was close to empty when we arrived. Our hostess, however, took our name and had us wait an obligatory 3 minutes before seating us. Then she seated us at the worst place she... More
