All I can say is this is one of the worst meals I've had. The fried chicken had no seasoning or flavor, the black eyed peas tasted underdone, the collard greens tasted like they were from a can, the crab cake....should just been called bread cake Bc it basically was all bread crumbs, the red pepper sauce was definitely far... My first trip to Pitty Pat's in over 25 years. Understand ownership has changed. So has atmosphere, service, and pricing. Used to be you wouldn't miss this restaurant while in Atlanta.... now it's NO BIG DEAL. Food was OK.

I am staying in Atlanta on a conference and was searching for authentic southern food. I came upon PittyPatty's porch and it looked promising. I was wrong very wrong. The place was over crowded and understaffed. I was a party of one and it took 30 minutes to find a bar stool. Once I found a seat it was hard... More

This place is tremendous! Reservations are recommended as they are very well known and popular. We went on Mon, early and had no trouble getting an early reservation. The building is beautiful, lots of hard wood and beautiful lighting. As you walk down to the dining room, you pass the fellow as he makes the homemade biscuits...yum! The wait staff... More

It's been awhile since I've eaten here and I was very pleased to see that the food is still really good. The big change was the small salad bar compared to the long one they used to have with so many choices. The portions are still huge and very tasty. Everything was fresh and good. My only regret is that... More

I happened to walk past on way to Centennial Park and they had just opened so I stopped in for a bite. Ordered just the side bar which is all side dishes and salads. $14. Everything was delicious and I enjoyed the southern dishes like Hoppin John and Sweet Potato Salad. Sat on the porch which overlooks the street. The... More

We decided to eat at PPorch late and called to get reservations. We arrived and walked right in. The place was not crowded and it was a Saturday night but it was early. We were waited on quickly and our waiter escorted us to the sideboard and introduced us to the salads. We enjoyed all the selections. The only problem... More

This restaurant was recommend to us by hotel staff. We were told that we would not go hungry and that the prices were reasonable. We definitely did not go hungry! Meals are accompanied with a huge salad bar featuring 12+ different salads. This was enough for a meal. I ordered the combination ribs/fried chicken, and both were very good. We... More

We dined at Pittypat's Porch on a Friday evening after discovering that we couldn't get into the restaurant of our choice. While we didn't go to Atlanta to eat Southern cooking - we can do that at home - we found the restaurant to be clean with very pleasing ambience; we found the staff to be friendly and accommodating (ask... We liked this place so much we went back again. Twice in 4 nights. The bbq ribs are absolutely mouthwatering. The fried chicken is perfect and delicious. We even liked the black eyed peas!! and the cheesy grits!! The salad bar has some very nice salads on it but don't fill up on it. The biscuits, and sweet potato choc... More
