Service is great

The night I went to Pittypat's they were super busy and slow. The Manager and Waiter went above and beyond to accommodate us and take care of us while we waited for our orders.

I had dinner here 3 out of my 5 nights at the Westin. Directly across the street from the Westin. Ribs, fried chicken, steak, all good. The gouda mac & cheese with the steak was very good. The salad bar was fresh with a lot of options. The mac at the salad bar and the chicken salad were excellent.

Rock music did not fit the attempt at old South. Biscuits were frozen, collard greens sweet enough for dessert, cornbread was a Yankee version (sweet and yellow), blackeyed peas were not seasoned the way a real Southern cook would season, catfish was frozen with the standard yellow breading. The good parts of meal were the mashed potatoes with sawmill gravy,... More

we had 10 of us, came across the street from the westin when it was 19 degrees. the service was great, the food was good and plentiful. not great but not bad. salad bar, black eyed peas, bread, greens all included with your entree. that's pretty awesome. we had fun, we had drinks, we were able to get separate checks... Filling, southern-style meal. I had the chicken and ribs. Awesome fried chicken, decent ribs. The salad bar rocked, and pickled watermelon is the bomb! The breads were all a little dry and crust; the basket they were pulled from had, I think, been sitting for awhile. A little pricey for what I got, in my opinion, but that is probably... More

The food was average at best but the waiter was bad. Never asked if we wanted a drink and once the food was delivered, we didn't see him again until he brought the bill. He then told me I could tip in cash to hide it from Uncle Sam. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The salad bar was... More

This was one of our favorite meals while in Atlanta. There specialty is Fried Chicken which my friend had and loved, but I recommend the blackened shrimp and grits. A beautiful salad bar, many fresh breads and delicious sides come with your dinner.

We picked this restaurant because we were looking for true Southern food and atmosphere. My group was a handful of college friends reuniting in Atlanta for the weekend. We originally made the reservation on OpenTable but when we had to make changes over the phone the staff was super accommodating. The place was crowded - Saturday night for dinner -... More

This isn't the greatest place for kids or for those with mobility issues. There are a lot of stairs. The menu is 100% southern fair - and unfortunately - not great tasting either. While I wanted nothing more than to sit on the porch in a rocking chair sipping a drink, we had to eat and I had kids with... More

My husband had been here about 35 years ago, he was surprised to find that the décor was exactly the same however now it is worn and dingy. The place was packed for a Sunday night so I know they are making money enough to do some rehab. What this place needs is a face lift. The tables at least... More
