Fried chicken & Salad Bar

Not the best fried chicken I've ever had, but it was quite good. Every entree comes with an unlimited salad bar. Get adventurous and try the picked watermelon rind....I was skeptical at first, but the taste will win you over.

Went here with a large group. They were very accommodating and friendly. It's not a "fancy" place, but rather has some lovely antiques and is otherwise just simply decorated. The food was good--southern basics. Would go back if I were in the area again/

My husband attend conference at Atlanta. We decide to try some southern/soul food. One of local conference committee member highly recommend this restaurant. The smell of baked muffin and cornbread was so good. Their all you can eat salad bar also has many different variety of salad. Some of those we never had before. I really like their sweet potato... On 06-27-15 my wife and I decided to go downtown and check- out Pittypat's Porch. Don't waste your time. The chicken was so so and the vegetables taste like they came straight from a can. The peach cobbler was Luke warm slices of peaches with no crust whatsoever. The waitress informed my wife and I that there was a mandatory... More

Great atmosphere, pretty good food (nothing special), but the service was slooooooooowwww as molasses. Took 10 minutes before anyone visited our table to take our drink order, then our dinner took close to an hour to come out. At one point I asked for silverware (none on the table), napkins, dessert, and a check all at once, for fear I... More

Pittypat's porch seems out of place in downtown Atlanta. But if you close your eyes while the buttery cornbread melts in your mouth you can imagine that your eating in a dining room on a beautiful plantation. They made all their corn bread, short bread and muffins right there. When you go to the salad bar you can see the... More

Horrible service and horrible no taste food!!!Server had rude and inappropriate small talk during the entire disgusting meal. And the poor people next to us asked about the menu multiple times and all he could say was everything is good, what kind of answer is that??? Save your money and time, it's NOT at all what its hyped up to... More

The food was very good and the service even better but the "original" building (I first went there before the parking garage was overhead) is tired and old. However, it is southern food at its traditional finest and at a very reasonable price.
