The atmosphere was straight out of the novel and the food matched. Wonderful choices! I had ribs and fried chicken. The "salad" bar was wonderful and the hot bread basket, replete with biscuits and various breads, was mouth watering. Be sure to make a reservation!

It seemed a good option - busy, with southern accents calling out to get tables filled in a friendly bustle. Led down to the table, it wasn't as good as expected - pleasant enough service by very average food. You'd have thought ribs would be magnificent in a place like this but chewy, stodgy and definitely average. Decent prices, and... More

Their fried chicken is the best. Their service is great. Make a reservation especially on the weekend. More than enough food.

My parents took us to Pittypat's Porch when we were children while on a visit to Atlanta. I never forgot the southern charm of this restaurant...live piano music and fireplace. My sister and I went back last year and it was just a quaint and hospitable as I remembered. The fried chicken, fixins, and salad bar makes me want to... More

We ate here last year, during a big group function during DragonCon. It was our annual Colonial Marines Dinner. It was Oh My God GOOD! The fried chicked was the ab-so-lute-ly BEST I've ever had! Every thing I tasted was not just good, but Magnificent! Mac and cheese, all the sides, and the Peach Cobbler...Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh YES! It's the kind of... More

We are creatures of habit & eat here twice a year when on business only because it's convenient. They made renovations since we were here last & it looks much better. The menu was better too. The salad bar is good, the shrimp & grits were good (not fabulous) & the chocolate cake was great.

Eating at Pittypat's Porch was like going to Grandma's house for Sunday Dinner and it was only FRIDAY! We sat on the actual porch and were comfortably cool and the ambiance was not "damaged" by its proximity to the nearby street. Good food, well prepared, nice "Sidebar" (salads, side items, etc.) and the desert was worth denying extra trips to... More

We did not even get a chance to eat here we walked in to put our name down for the waiting list and the hostess that evening was all over the place running around like she was crazy. We stood there for a few minutes waiting on her to come back and by this time more people flooded in and... More

This place is tacky and food is greasy as are the plates. This is not southern cooking. This is just bad food in a restaurant that is decorated in camp southern decor.
