Expensive for a buffett

Excellent piano player. Enjoyable wait staff. Serve yourself for side dishes which puts this on the expensive side. Not as much for the 'Place To Eat' as it used to be.

Based on a local recommendation we tried Pittypat's Porch - and I am not a huge fried chicken and ribs person, but I tried them, and they were delish! Our meal came with access to the salad bar which was full of southern favorites, and I left stuffed! Great service too!

Ate at Pittypat's porch about 30 years ago and stopped in Atlanta to take my kids. It looks exactly the same! I was so sad it wasn't busier. My husband has declared their fried chicken the best he's ever had and that's the highest praise from fried chicken junkie! The staff didn't seem to want to be at work, but... More

This place is odd even as you walk in the door. My family went here because it was across the street from our hotel. The chicken salad on the bar was delicious. I ordered ribs, but they came out undercooked and had to go back. By the time they were out again, I was full off the chicken salad. The... More

We arrived as a party of 7 and were seated promptly. Service was timely and friendly. We had catfish, fried chicken and shrimp. The shrimp and catfish were either Blackened or Baked. Consensus was Blackened was better. Portions were good sized and the ambiance is nice. I will go back the next time I'm in town. Especially if I stay... More

This is a great alternative to the national chains and the more upscale restaurants in the area. I was in Atlanta for a conference, and later joined by my family for a few days' vacation. We were without a car, and walked by on the way back from Olympic Park. We went between 5 and 5:30 on a weeknight, and... More

It was a busy weekend; and, even though we arrived 20 minutes before our Open Table reservation time - we were not seated until 30+ minutes after our reservation time - The cramped waiting area is not conducive to having happy customers - the food when it finally arrived was good - and our server did the best she could... Fantastic food and even better service. Had dinner with friends from out of the country, and this gave them a fantastic experience of southern food and hospitality.

Fun restaurant! Well-decorated to the theme of Gone with the Wind. I am now inspired to go back and read the book again. According to the menu, when Scarlett visits Aunt PittyPat in Atlanta, she always pulled all stops and made her best dishes. When you order a main dish entree it includes the sideboard, bread, collard greens and black... More

We were a little disappointed with the dining experience. First , the positives. The location was nice with some dining on the porch which looked nice as well. We dinned inside where it was a little dark but not bad. The fried chicken was pretty good and that is what I would recommend. We were disappointed with the fried catfish... More
