Pittypat's Porch won't win awards for innovative gourmet cuisine, but if you are looking for an opportunity to sample authentic Southern cooking with an historic flair, this is the place. We stopped for a late lunch on a cold rainy afternoon, and were pleased with our choice. A plate of blackened shrimp and sautéed peppers on a bed of cheesy... More

The atmosphere of the restaurant was tasteful and the staff friendly. The food was good but not spectacular. For the price the servings were very small. $7.50 for three fried green tomatoes is a bit much. if you have allergies not the place to go. I have an allergy to onions and peppers and there was very little choice for... More

I came on a very slow Friday night. I sat at the near-empty bar. Exceptionally friendly and pleasant Jamie and Gigi served and entertained. Both were very knowledgeable about the spirits and ales offered. Each was a long-term employee of Pittypats and their pride in the place showed. They showed off the new Pittypats porch, recently added (within a couple... More

Well, I don't know the history behind Pittypat's Porch but from one reader, it looks like I should have checked my history. My husband and I came to Atlanta on the spare of the moment. We ended up in a hotel near Pittypat's porch and also the people at the hotel recommended it. Southern cooking was all I needed to... More

The place was really busy but the staff were very friendly. Great atmosphere, good food and plenty of it. We shared a starter and main, no room for dessert. Thank you to Cupcake.

Pitty Pat's Porch is one of those restaurants where people visiting Atlanta go to. I was reluctant to go to a place named after Gone with the Wind. While I read the book as a young girl and loved it, as an adult, I realize how racist the book is. But I did go, and here is my review. It... More

We always look forward to our visit to Pittypats Porch when we are in Atlanta! They have a beautiful salad bar and everything we have tried on the menu is homemade and delicious! You will be friends with all the staff before you leave!

Great atmosphere and friendly and efficient service from the get-go. The server only takes one order: drinks and dinner together. You then set in motion a very structured dining schedule. You go to the salad bar and of course can't get enough on one plate. You vow you are going back, but your meal shows up too soon for that... More

Because it was New Year's Eve we expected a bit of a wait even with reservations. We were seated within 20 mins. of our reserved time. The service was very slow…again, it was New Year's Eve. So, we waited patiently for most of our courses. The entree was greatly delayed because so many people had ordered fried chicken. My husband... More

It was a nice southern style restaurant. The food tasted great, especially the salad bar. Teenagers enjoyed it more.
