Good Southern Charm Restaruant

The interior was a bit older looking but the outside porch was nice. The sandwich that I had was awesome. Staff was very friendly.

Really sweet people, and authentic Southern food in generous down-home portions. Love their fried chicken. Sweet tea is perfect - and you know that means a LOT down here. Have not been disappointed so we keep coming back every year.

Good southern food with great service. Go see the waitress Denise, made me feel right at home. Try the shrimp and grits!

Love the place, great history and memorabilia, drinks and food are great, especially the shrimp and grits and bread pudding. Very pricey but you get your money's worth.

We have eaten at Pittypat's Porch before and loved it but this time it was horrible. We had made reservations weeks in advance and looked forward to a slow dinner with good food. We received water and all the ice was melted before anyone showed up to take our orders. We were handed a menu and told to "choose an... More

At a conference in Atlanta and wanted to go for a "Southern" dinner. This place was great! Wonderful southern dinner with all the southern hospitality you would expect. Food was amazing. Atmosphere to match. Restaurant even had a rocking chair lounge.

Came here with about 100 people for a company dinner. We had a salad bar, choice of salmon or filet, and dessert. The entrees were obviously cooked ahead of time and were dry and tough. The dessert and their moonshine punch were both DELICIOUS. To be fair, I did not have their specialty of fried chicken, and I would return... More

Dined alone, first night in Atlanta for a conference. Arrived right as they opened and saw the man preparing the homemade biscuits. Charming décor, complete with lifesize cardboard Scarlett O'Hara and plenty of rocking chairs in the entry. My waiter was extremely friendly, immediately explaining the history of the restaurant to me. Be prepared, you get a lot of food... More

We walked through early before the crowds and were able to hear the history from one of the long time employees. We went back to eat and we were disappointed with the food and service. The waitress was rude and when we asked for a spoon for our gumbo she complained she would have to go downstairs so we ate... More

I would not go back here and really mainly because it promised much and didnt deliver. The waiter lauded the range of breads then when they came there weren't enough of each for all of us and the food was very expensive, pleasant but certainly not worth the costs. Felt for the only time our our two and a half... More
