I say 2 stars because the place had a long line outside, waited for my order to go and then they missed one of my order. So check your bags of order before you drive home. I am from out of town, staying at Vinings, GA with a relative and no sense to go back to get my missing order.... More

This was my first time having BBQ in Atlanta, and after reading all the reviews I decided to go here for day 1. When I saw the long line, I couldn't help to be excited about this place. The menu is really set up for individuals and not for sharing at a table, which made ordering a little difficult. The... More

This place is awesome! The menu is short, but what they serve what they are good at.... Ribs and chicken! You will not be disappointed. The ribs and chicken are very tender and juicy. We also had the collared greens and Mac and cheese, they hit the spot. For a couple, we shared 1/2 a rack, 1/2 a bird, 1... More

Great bbq and it's not expensive. Easy to get to location, I would definitely recommend it. It's one of two bbq joints that most people from Atlanta will know, the other Fox bros. Both yummy.

I went with my friend on July 2nd. I ordered a rib sandwich with a lemonade. The order came out to $9.01 What a phenomenal sandwich. It was delicious. You have to pour the BBQ sauce on it. It's a sweet sauce. I only wish that the sandwich was boneless. Great place and it's always packed.

Went here on a Saturday night after reading all these reviews online about this place. Had really high expectations, but oh so disappointed and really wish I still had my money that I spent :-( Ordered a slab of ribs, baked beans, Coleslaw, and potato salad. Ribs were awful :-( 1. I wish they were baby back ribs. 2. You... More

Get there early! This is traditional style Georgia barbecue, down to the vinegar based sauce. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. After a short wait we ordered the ribs, beans, cold slaw and the collard greens. We were seated at a large table with some local folks and it made the whole experience worth the drive... More

This is your local hole in the wall restaurant with phenomenal food! Went there on a Sunday night and it was packed with a line that was starting to wrap around the building.I will definitely be going back

I've been going to Fat Matt's off and on for years, and it remains about as good as BBQ can be. Living in North Carolina and occasionally having to eat the garbage masquerading as bbq they serve there, I doubly appreciate my trips to see the Braves and eat decent Q. This time I had a half rack of ribs... More
