Since its inception in 1992, Red Light Cafe has been Atlanta's Living Room - a comfortable, familiar place to enjoy food, drink, and live music & entertainment with friends. 20 years later, Red Light Cafe is now under new management, and we've refreshed almost everything - new furniture, new menu, new craft beer selection, full bar, fresh coat of paint, a new sound system, and more!Wednesday nights are still the longest-running Open Mic in Atlanta, and Thursday nights will always be the best acoustic bluegrass jam in town. And new for 2013 - Every other Sunday is Kitty Love's Sultry Sunday - some of the finest Burlesque Atlanta has to offer!

Great live music

We went to hear New York's Rachel Zylstra play. Cover was $10. This is a great place to hear live music. My husband had a few beers. There was one he wasn't particularly fond of and they took it back easily. We also ordered bbq and cheddar pie. It was surprisingly good. It came with an equally... read more

Nice venue in a great location to midtown. Cozy, intimate place to see live shows. Came to see Virginia Schenck with her band on 3/7/15. The singer and band were on fire with fun, upbeat sets!! Large selection of libations. Great place to be able to see and hear up close. We did not come to eat but rather for... More

I visited the Red Light Cafe for the first time to see Leo & Anto (of the Saw Doctors/Waterboys) last night. Really love this place. Cool, intimate setting with a small stage at the front corner. Convenient, easy to find location. Parking was not an issue the evening I visited, even though it's in Midtown. Adequate sound. Lighting was a... More

Red Light is not so much a cafe as venue for unique musicians to perform while you drink a beer or coke and munch on very basic food/snacks. This small places hold something like a 100 people with everything focus on the stage rather then TV's or the bar. Nothing fancy almost lawn furniture seating but if your musician or... More

We had such a great time. The place was packed, but the bartender was really good and on top of it. It is a listening room, so no table service. We ordered from the bar and they brought the food to us. The sound was great and no interruptions. Looking forward to going again.

Doorman never looked up from his paper. Just said " Seven each" . As we entered he didn't even try to move his little desk over so my wheelchair could get through. Food not good, limited to ham / turkey sandwiches , very basic.
