I love Gladys Knight but she should stick to singing. We went for Chicken and Waffles as I am sure most people do. What a disappointment. The fried chicken had been cooked hours before and arrived warm (room temperature at best), flavorless and nothing special. The apple cinnamon waffle was again served at room temperature, was thin like a pancake,... More

When you hear about, popular/tourist restaurant usually you end up disappointed. That wasn't the case when I ate at Gladys Knights. The food was great, id recommend showing up 20 minutes before opening, the line can grow extremely fast and you'll be left waiting for hours.

I have been here every time I've visited Atlanta. It is always good. The shrimp and grits are incredible.

Easy parking - huge chicken wings - and the waffle was great - I could not eat the entire meal. Has some left overs - service was great - the only thing I hated was the barrage of homeless people begging as we left the building.

I have been in 3 different occasions. This time I had the fried chicken, Mac and Chz, and collard greens. To top it off I had peach cobbler. All of it was delicious. The best cobbler I have ever eaten. I spent about 20.00 for this meal, my boyfriend thinks it's too expensive but it was worth it.

I ordered food to go due to visiting someone at Emory Midtown Hospital. I decided to order a vegetable plate...Mac and cheese, fried corn, yams and string beans...the food was mediocre at best. I expected so much more but the food lacked flavor. The fried corn was hard, the string beans were very stringy and the Mac and cheese was... More

All I can say is that the Smothered chicken was excellent. I enjoyed it so much I can't remember what my sides I ate. Smile

Gladys Knight & Ron Winan's restaurant is a top notch soul food restaurant in Atlanta. Their chicken and waffles are the best. If you are looking for some down home cooking this is the place. It's well worth a visit .

My 19 yr old daughter and I were in ATL for the Garth Brooks concert and decided to give this a try. It's been on my restaurant bucket list for a while. The wait here is long. Much more than they quote you. Since we had limited time, we ended up ordering to go which was quick and efficient. I... More
