Good Eats!

We enjoyed the chicken and waffles! It was really great. Usually there is a line down the street, however, we were able to walk right in and have a table within two minutes. I don't think this is usual, but we went on a Thursday afternoon about 5:00 p.m.

We stopped in twice, but left once. The first time I came here, I got the chicken with vegetables.. The chicken was great, but the vegetables were way too soft. overcooked. They were out of cornbread because they said it was burned. I came again a week later with some friends. It was this visit where we noticed that it... More

Got here at 6 on Sunday, paid $7 to park then was told it was an hour wait. We stood off to the side and was told we couldnt stand there, go sit on the bench. Went to the bench and people were on it, not enough room for my family so we stood to the side. Hostess came by... More

Being from California I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into some delicious soul food when visiting Atlanta. After some research I came across Gladys Knights, which happened to be a 10 minute walk from my hotel. The menu had a lot of a la carte options, which I liked because you can mix and match whatever you want. I... More

We went to Gladys restaurant because we had heard that's the place to go when in Atlanta and a lot of the locals eat there. There was a really long wait but we had a party of 10 so they ended up splitting us up but close to each other. The food was out of this world a definite must... More

We went to this place thinking is was a regular food and service, but as soon as we saw the menu and the amount of people we knew it must be a great place to eat and it was true the food is awesome, fried chicken, waffles, sides and service 100%. The only difficult situation is the parking, is a... More

Great place. Went on a week night and the wait wasn't bad maybe 25 in. The smothered chicken was very good. Mac and cheese was just like homemade.

Great selection of southern specialties. Good location for day time visit. If visiting late at night park in lot next door area can be a little sketchy. Wait staff is very helpful and service is fast.

Okay, the neighborhood isn't Atlanta's finest, but if you're with a group, waiting outside isn't bad. We had the Midnight Train (wings and a waffle), and the smothered chicken. Yum and yum! Squash casserole was very sweet (as promised on the menu), collards were just right (not too salty). Our server was awesome! Great recommendations, and very personable. One thing... More
