Group dinner

We had a group of 6 and were seated in the glass enclosure room, which was great for us. Our server Marcus was very polite, never rushed us, knew the menu thoroughly. Appetizers - mussels (personally do not eat), but the sauce they were in - amazing. Ask for extra bread to soak it up. Sos Ati... read more

The menu is something special, from the wine to the ostrich, to the bobotie (this is a must have). The prawns are spectacular, any style you order and the atmosphere is second to none. The safari tent area is as if you were at a lodge on the Serengeti or Kalahari. It is a smoking area though, so I chose... More

My husband & I tried this restaurant for a "date night" everything from the friendly valet, the hostess, waiter, food and drinks were perfect. The service was fast. We started with the peri peri chicken spring rolls and prawns, both were excellent! Many of the appetizers are just smaller versions of the entrées, which is perfect for those who cannot... More

They had a selection of small plates and every morsel was delicious! The consensus was that the boerewors sandwich was the best, followed closely by the babotie rolls. And of course, who could not mention the biltong salad! I always make a point of dining here when I get to Atlanta

This restaurant doesn't look much from the outside and indeed was pretty plain inside - light and airy in the front. The back restaurant looked more interesting but when I asked if we could sit there (it was early afternoon) I was told it was busy there later. I thought this odd but didn't push it and the front restaurant... More

I just moved across the street and was not sure where to go for dinner, I was so pleased to find the sop across from me is AMAZING! I ran into an amazing manager Jamie (who I previously met at Yebo) and she welcomed me with opened arms. Dinner was amazing beyond words, and the overall experience was great. I... More

Once you arrive the valet service parks your car. All the waiters and staff were very nice and informative. About half of the patrons were dressed up and the other half were dressed nice and casual. The wine list is very good but not large and mostly American and South African (we tried a SA red and it was awesome... More

Pulling up, complimentary valet, very modern building from the outside, very chic and exotic on the inside. Great hostess and staff. Flexible seating is great for large or odd sized groups. Food is great. If you need a real overview of their South African dishes (entrees) before deciding, try both then surf and turf styled samplers. Each has a great... More

I really enjoyed entering the restaurant, valet was great, it feels good -- the back bar was interesting as well as I waited for friends to arrive. Food was very tasty indeed. I'll need to come back to sample other dishes of course. I had the set menu for Buckhead Restaurant Week -- the fish was divine. Here's where the... More

Visited Atlanta in March 2015 and was craving home food. A friend suggested this SA restaurant. Excellent South African cuisine and wines. Even my American friends were impressed! We sampled different dishes and we were not disappointed. What a lovely atmosphere - home away from home! Friendly staff - great service - good choice of food - One of the... More
