The appearance of the servers was more "Capital Grill-like" than diner - and the service was terrific. Menu is diverse and huge. Portions were very large. And the food was terrific. This is a truly high-end diner and worthy of the accolades.

This is an ok restaurant for date night. Not sure if we just had a waiter or if this is normal. Drinks came right away. Then took around 20 minutes to get our order put in and another round of drinks came. Portions were on the small side, but food had good flavor. My drink remained empty for the entire... More

I've been here numerous times over the last several years. This is the favorite lunch destination for a customer of mine who has her office nearby. I've not had a bad meal in all this time. I often get the Fried Egg BLT....just fabulous. But I've also had the Four Cheese Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup which is delicious and... More

Terrific place and one of my favorites in Atlanta, especially for lunch. The service has been a little erratic lately, but the food is sooo worth it. The blue cheese chips are the stuff of legend, the sweet tea is ambrosial, and if you are in the mood for a decadent dessert I am a huge advocate of the mini-milkshakes.... More

Been here a couple of times, and whilst the food is good the service put us off. Delivered someone else's dish, and rather than just admit a mistake they said it was a complementary appetiser, Waiter "gushed" at every opportunity. It's been my pleasure to serve you and so on. I just want to eat!!!

There's only so much you can do to these items and nothing will make them worth this price plus the cost of valet parking. Sorry, but the ambience was the best part. Dirty water glasses, table, and napkins. Decent service, but not outstanding. Tasty food but not worth the price.

The title sums it up. The food was pretty good, but we normally don't see prices this high at a place called a "diner".

this is a high class diner - the service is one of the best i had in atlanta. the food was good but way too much - huge portions. the bartenders were a little standoffish - hated to be bothered to take our order let alone get us a check. and you have to go to the bar before you... More

Having heard from friends that the food at this "upscale diner" was worth the slightly-grumpy staff, we thought it was worth a try on New Year's Day for brunch. Sadly, they were not offering brunch dishes that day, but we decided to order from the lunch menu and try it out anyway. The mandatory valet ($2+tip) is a little disappointing,... More

A bit overrated and the food choice seemed a bit bland describes this outing to the Buckhead Diner. The ambiance was the saving grace of this visit. I ordered the soup and grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich was tasty enough but the tomato soup was like Campbell's out of the can. The collard green soup was a bit better and... More
