This place looks like a 50's diner inside and out. The service is very good and the menu is impressive. celebrity pictures with signatures are on the wall as you come in that have visited.
Buckhead Diner has been open longer than probably 90% of Atlanta restaurants and there is a reason for that. Consistently good food, good portions and great service every single time.
Every time I visit Atlanta, not often enough, I try to go to the Diner, Excellent service, the best home made potato chips in the world, and great meeting place with friends. Do not miss it in your next visit. Ah, right across the street, the best pretzel bread ever. (Same owners)

Great food and impeccable service! Our waiter, Garyn O'Brian was knowledgeable, charming. We especially enjoyed the Tuscan Kale salad. The manager even brought us complimentary dessert wine. Wonderful experience.
The Diner is coming back! For some time it had dropped off, however they seem to be freshening things up! We had a part of 5 for lunch and everyone was impressed. We will be back.
We lived in Atlanta in the 80's and the Buckhead Diner was the "in" restaurant back then. We revisited on a recent trip back to Atlanta. Still as good as I remembered. Great homemade chips with warm Maytag blue cheese. The best fried egg BLT sandwich. First-class diner food.
What can one say that everyone else has already said. Just an outstanding Atlanta tradition of great food and drink. You must give it a try.
We had not been here in years & chose it for a Christmas season luncheon. Perfection - every aspect (setting, service, selection)was perfection. I had known we would begin with "Original WARM MAYTAG BLUE CHEESE CHIPS (created in 1987)" . They did not disappoint. Each bite was as wonderful as remembered. No resting on laurels here. It had been some... More
I returned to Buckhead Dinner a could of times in November for business luncheons. It's the first time I've been here in 15 years. True to form, the place is still a classic: a classic mid-20th century Americana diner featuring both upscale dishes and simple fare with interesting twists. The food is as good as I remember, the waitstaff prompt... More
