Good first impression

Great food and server. The view of the River is very nice. If you have a large group you need to have a special event as they don't combine tables in the dining room.

I have been here many times. The place has been consistently nice. The service is good and friendly and the food is quite good, although not great . The place is very popular so it can get quite noisy.

We ate here on our anniversary trip. My husband had the salmon. He could not stop talking about how moist and good it was. I had the duck burger, it was good, but just a little too much char flavor. I would definitely prefer a salad over the fries that come with it. The margarita was very good. I could... More

Upon reading positive reviews, we went and tried. The overall experience was good but not as good as expected. Maybe we held our expectation too high. The server was courteous and food tasted fine. The backyard is pretty and bigger than what most restaurants have to offer, but nothing too special. Overall, it is a nice restaurant but didn't impress... More

Canoe is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta, period. There are many trendy places but none of them have the consistency in food quality nor the extremely professional service you will find in Canoe. Every dish is perfectly executed, and the whole experience is simply superb. Even though it is slightly removed from central locations in town, it is... More

I would highly recommend enjoying a dinner at Canoe. There is no other place in Atlanta like it. Beautiful riverside setting - the bar is right on the river. I would recommend coming a little early to have a drink by the river. Good wine selection, great beer selection and of course delicious tea. Service was impeccable. My favorite dishes... More

I've spent a fantastic business dinner with fresh, refined and gorgeous food. I had smoked salmon and white fish for the main. Both cooked to perfection with balanced spicing. The wine selection was also good so as to service. And top this, the restaurant is set by the river. Definitely a place to visit!

Romantic and beautifully set by the water, Canoe offers a diverse menu featuring an array of seafood and game meat. The smoked salmon, done in-house, was fresh and flavorful. The rabbit entree was slightly tough, but we thoroughly enjoyed the arctic char, cooked to perfect temperature and wellness. The service was prompt, attentive, and truly made you feel well-cared for.... More
