Hal's presents like an old guard steak place in New York City, which should be a good thing. Folks in this town typically love the place, sing praises about the beef, and describe the experience with all the positivity of a kid in a candy store. Naturally, expectations were as high as Hal's prices (which, if you've been to Hal's,... More

By far, one of the better filets I've had the pleasure of eating. Preparation was spot on, sides/salads, appetizers were amazing and a very nice wine list. Service was perfect too. But, if you are looking to have a nice "quiet" dinner, not the place to go. The noise level reminded me of the clubs I used to frequent in... More

First time dining experience at Hal's last night and boy was it an experience! I ordered the fillet at a whopping cost of $49 but let me tell you that it was worth every penny! Melted like butter in your mouth and the flavor was magnificent! The appetizers were amazing, we had a medley of calamari, crab, lobster, crawfish and... More

I've been to Hal's twice over the last few months, each time with a different friend. They both commented on the poor service and unremarkable food. The crawfish tails were chewy and lacked flavor, similar to what you'd expect out of the frozen food section of a grocery store. Yes the steaks are good, but they were brought to our... More

One of the best steaks i've ever had. Was fantastic. Got the bone-in filet. Was phenomenal. Service was impeccable, personable, knowledgeable. Clearly our waiter knew the menu backwards and forwards, and steered us the right way every time.

Always consistent. Always excellent. Great ambiance and the best filet in Atlanta. Other entrees are also very good. Service never disappoints. The lower bar area is always active and if you want smoke free, just go upstairs. But, downstairs is where it all happens.

Had a reservation for 12. Table was ready on time. Two servers were random in checking on us. Meal took too long to get served and more than 10 minutes from first meal to the table until the last was delivered and was cold. Once the food was delivered the waiters never came back. When it came time to check... More
