I'm not going to try to out-do the review before me or any of the thousands before that one. What I would like to say, however, is that as a well-seasoned traveler and burger connoisseur, the "Ghetto Burger" is the best burger I have EVER had on planet Earth. Period. It isn't gimmicky or full of fancy toppings like foie... More

Imagine: A tiny single-wide trailer, dilapidated, fixed with duct tape, smack center in the "urban community." Imagine: An interesting mix of patrons from just about all walks of life, huddled around eight bar stools, and tiny TV blaring in the background. Imagine: The best burger to be had anywhere in the South. Imagine: Awesome food, a funky atmosphere, a fair... More

This place is what you would call a true "hole in the wall". We went with a large group and we were warned ahead of time about the wait. I got the "Hood Burger" chili, coleslaw, 2 cheese burger patties and bacon. It was different, my husband got a double cheeseburger. The only thing we both agreed that was missing... More

After moving into intown Atlanta, I finally made it by Ann's for a burger. This place is the real deal for a very hearty burger and fries so bring your appetite. The burger was very good - not quite Atlanta's best (I like The Earl) but the overall experience in this humble eatery makes it worth a special trip. Eat... More

My girlfriend and I went to Ann's for the famous Ghetto burger this morning. It was not busy but we waited about fifty minutes. I never thought I would wait that long for anybody's hamburger. I Have heard so much about Ann's Ghetto burger I had to see for myself. I loved it sooo much I am looking forward to... More

Go at opening (10mins before) and wait for 1-1.5 hrs. Any later - 2 hrs at least. Once waited in the snow (rare - but that was when it was). Very homely, but make sure you listen to her.

I can honestly say eating here is a TRUE experience. Yes, it's in a rough neighborhood, and, yes, Ms. Ann may raise a little hell, but then again, don't all great chefs? She transforms regular old (QUALITY) ground beef into a melting tower of cheese, grilled onions, bacon, chili and some kind of mojo that keeps me coming back for... More

Want to visit a real life greasy spoon, go here. Home cooked burgers. The ghetto burger is huge, enough for two. If you order fries, the portion size is also enough for two. The location is a little scary, but clean. You have to know the rules or you might get snapped at....I never have. It's worth a try.

The burgers are off the chain - the restaurant is the filthiest place I've ever been in and the neighborhood is scary. There were only 8 people there so the place was full. Someone took our order while we waited outside - but they didn't bother to start the burgers until everyone inside was finished -AND - there were other... More
