Wall Street's Best Burger in America

I have to agree the burger is one of the BEST I've ever eaten. I advise getting your food to-go. The restaurant has a screened area with fans but really no suitable place to eat. When you see the location, you'll want to get away fast. Staff is quite friendly. I advise any to try the Ghetto... read more

Like others, we had read the old Wall St Journal article so we fought the traffic to get there for lunch. Having never been there, we didn't know there were unspoken rules, but we walked through the screened porch and attempted to walk through the door to the inside. All the stools were occupied but we thought perhaps like many... More

Only a few people are ever recognized as doing something better than anyone else in America. What's better than a cheeseburger? And what's a better cheeseburger than Ann's Snack Bar. Did she create the best single dish in the country? Food hand-made by a strong woman with strong opinions, and yes, a sense of humor. No doubt, there's a bar... More

Recently visited this place and the burger was amazing. I only could handle the cheeseburger but if your stomach allows you go for the ghetto burger. This is a landmark. The owner is a sweet old lady filled with a lot of history and stories. Old school establishment so its CASH ONLY.

The whole experience from ordering to munching on the fries to the Ghetto burger....priceless. And yes the staff put their heart into preparing your food. They were so concerned I got everything I ordered and in between munches all I could say is.....it's so good!

We had high expectations for this place and they were met. It is the definition of a dive. Burgers were great. I got the ghetto burger combo and it didn't disappoint. Can of coke and some fries on the side. The only knock I would have is the wait, but we came during a busy lunch hour so it was... More

Yesterday I had a reason to be in Atlanta and couldn't pass up a chance to get one of the best burgers in the country. Ann's snack bar has been one of my favorite places in Atlanta for a lot of years. Ann is a lady who expects her rules to be followed, there aren't many rules, but if you... More

Obviously, you can read the 1000s of reviews on this place, the majority of them glowing, and I'm sure you've read about how to behave and that the place is owned and run by senior citizens, but as always many things are blown-out of proportion. Here's the real deal: This place is certainly a neighborhood gem, many of the customers... More

I have wanted to go to Ann's Snack Bar for some time. I would drive by and see the crowd and think I'll stop another time. Finally, this time, I found a parking spot in another lot and stood while waiting for our lunch. We finally got seats and absolutely delicious hamburgers. It's definitely worth the wait!
