Each evening, award-winning Chef Linton Hopkins and wife Gina welcome diners to savor an ever-changing menu that highlights Georgia's purest, locally grown produce and naturally raised meats. The inspired, New American cuisine is lovingly prepared with a southern accent and served with gracious hospitality. Each detail--from the hearth-baked bread to the pickled peaches to the Charcuterie - is made in-house. Indulge in a bottle from the meticulously selected wine list, or join us at the bar for a hand-crafted libation from our nationally recognized cocktail menu. Restaurant Eugene has been a winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2005. Chef Hopkins is a two time James Beard Nominee and was chosen as one of Food & Wine Magazine's 2009 Best New Chefs.

Memorial weekend getaway

We booked Eugene a month or so arriving. As we arrived early we had a drink at the bar. Was very impressed with our bartender - very well versed in classic cocktails. He even went so far as to write down the recipe for my Sazerac as I haven't had luck with standard recipes. For dinner were... read more

My beautiful wife and I eat in the Atlanta area more that I should say but we are foodies. Omg. The food is sublime and the experience is worth the 300.00 to 400.00 spent as a couple. People go at least once in your dining life. Better than you know.

We ate at Eugene this weekend. This has been my favorite restaurant in Atlanta for a couple years, but there was something missing that I experienced my other times at Eugene--the sparkle that would elevate the dinner to world class as opposed to very good. The food was great, service was great, but still I longed for more. The flavors... More

Had dinner with friends in November, 2014. Sophisticated, yet a bit stark in decor for my taste. Staff is friendly enough, yet keeps its distance. Food was very good, if not exciting. Wine program is admirable and one of the best in the city.

Although the food was exquisite, the demeanor of our server was so terribly sour he helped ensure that we will never return and we will discourage others. When I told a friend we wanted an experience akin to Gary Danko in San Fran, she suggested we change from Bacchanalia to Eugene for a more "fun" dining experience. Following her advice,... More

There is a 5 course Vegetarian Tasting menu or a 5 course Chef tasting menu and also . ordering a la carte. I am not a 'big' steak lover & NY strip was the main entree on the Chef tasting menu so we ordered a la carte. Food selection prices were about what you would expect for 'fine' or 'elegant'... More

Our group of 6 close friends came to celebrate birthdays and valentines on Friday. Our round table was the perfect size and location for us to talk to all. There seems to be as much staff as customers, so your every desire is met almost instantaneously. The sommelier Jeremy was extremely knowledgable and approachable, delightfully adding to our experience. Of... More

Restaurant Eugene now has my #1 spot in Georgia. The food and wine flights were exquisite. The service was so knowledgeable and attentive. We are going back for Valentine's Day - a meal to look forward to. I ate my best bite ever with an amuse bouche of a salt and pepper macaron filled with pimento cheese. Yum!

My wife and I dined here with a friend and overall the experience was good. We had a drink before dinner and a nice conversation with the very knowledgeable and engaging bartender. Our service was impeccable and the food was well prepared, presented and enjoyed. The wine was good, although slightly overpriced but at a top restaurant the wine prices... More

We went with some friends and ordered the chefs tasting menu with wine pairings. Everything was great from the food, wine and the exceptional service. The only suggestion I would make would be to clarify some of the additional supplements. Where we thought they would be an extra course, they ended up being mushrooms and caviar added to an existing course.$60... More
