Very enjoyable Valentines dinner

My wife and I ate dinner here on Friday evening. We were given a fantastic table. We ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The Foie gras was awesome. The service was superb and the food was very good.

A sophisticated restaurant that does everything well: food, decor, service. The three main courses we had, the lamb, duck, and snapper, were all very good. The interior is hard to label, but sort of modern with a slight oriental touch; elegant but not stuffy. It is a small restaurant, yet quiet with tables nicely spaced, without the bedlam at many... Celebrated a big birthday and was very pleased with the excellent food quality, presentation and attention to detail. Attentive and skilled wait staff - present when needed, but not hovering. Excellent she crab soup, citrus cured red snapper and rosted oyster Mushrooms were wonderful appetizers. Pan rosted black Grouper and laquered duck were the table favorites as entrees, though the... The food and service were superb. We eat out every night and Eugene's is the best in Atlanta. Very attentive, unhurried service. Exceptional good. We will be regular customers in the future.

This restaurant is one of the finest at which I have ever eaten. From the introductory "gifts" from the chef (one was a macaroon pimento and cheese miniature sandwich), you could tell that the meal was going to be special. I have ordered duck at many a restaurant hoping for the crispy Peking duck I once had at the Four... More

The atmosphere is good, with some real, afficionado level Jazz as a backdrop. The waitstaff is attentive, but not overly so. The wine list is good, but expensive. We found the lower priced bottles were perfectly excellent. The food is the star. They have a tasting menu which looks good, and in retrospect, I might choose that should we return.... More

Went here for a business dinner this week. I had been once before with a friend. The 7-course tasting menu with wine pairings is amazing. Just the right portion sizes and a wide range of foods (for instance, pickled shrimp, salmon, porky belly, and Appalachian cheese). Sommelier did a great job of explaining the wines, but did so without being... More

I suggest not even reading the menu. Select the chefs five courses with wine pairings and enjoy a fantastic gourmet dining. Super choreographed service. Nice descriptions of the food and wine with each course. The food was so delicious that we spent most of the dinner talking about how delicious it was. It is very expensive.
