My son is changing jobs and moving to Tampa. So, we had to have one more dinner at at Restaurant Eugene which is located in mid-town Atlanta. The chef is a James Beard award winner. Our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. We arrived early and started at the bar. My Manhattan was perfect. We both ordered the chef... More

This Atlanta restaurant ranks in my top 2 for the area. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff very knowledgable and attentive, and the alcohol selection very very good. I had the 5 course tasting menu and enjoyed it thoroughly. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant.

We have tried many tastings, all over the world. The food was spot on and in our opinion it was better than colichio in NYC. Service was very good and dinner was well presented and smooth. For a 5 course tasting it is not that expensive and well worth it. We did not do the wine pairings, instead worked with... More

Celebrated my wife's birthday tonight. This was one the best restaurants we have tried. The service was impeccable as there is not an assigned server for any table. Consequently, every table belongs to every server so you are never without attention. The food preparation was innovative and very well presented. The food itself was delicious. The real treat was the... More

Unlike a previous reviewer, my experience at Restaurant Eugene was fantastic. I, too, have eaten at Bouley in New York and agree it was amazing. But every course I was served at Restaurant Eugene was world class. (I followed this by eating at Bacchanalia the next night, and my dinner partner and I both agreed that in this particular match... We may simply be spoiled, European gourmets, having visited some of the best restaurants in the world, but somehow we had expected more from Eugene. The interior is great and the service is definitely impeccable, so no complaints here: effective, friendly, to the point. We felt the food - we had the tasting menu with an additional course - was... As a Top Contributor to Trip Advisor I take these reviews very seriously. I have lived in Atlanta for 49 years and last night my wife and I celebrated our 29th Anniversary. We have had some great celebrations over the last 29 years at many fine restaurants in Atlanta such as Nikolai’s Roof, Pano’s and Paul’s (now closed but wonderful... More

The food is truly outstanding, and the service gracious, caring, and impeccable. This is essentially a French-style tasting-menu kind of place, where you put yourself in the hands of the chef, and just relax to enjoy the ride, which takes about 2 hours. It is evident that these people know what they are doing, with everything that comes with it:... More

If you and your girlfriend are looking for a memorable experience, take her to Restaurant Eugene. Order the Roasted Duck. You'll drop a $100, but you won't forget how wonderful it was!! It was a perfect dinner! Love the samples and bread (wow) they bring out before the meal. No need to get an appetizer or dessert.

We made reservations at Eugene's primarily because it is owned by a nephew of one of my wife's old friends & because it has a great reputation. No charge Valet parking; enthusiastic friendly greeting; cell phone calls 24 hrs. prior to reservation; two different menus-one on left was ala carte; on right was sample tastings with good variety; cannot jump...
