I had a great time from beginning to end. Some reviews post that the service is subpar but my experience was positive. It's nice to travel and find a place unlike any in my hometown and I found it here. Great atmosphere, great music, and of course amazing belly dancers. I would recommend trying this on a Saturday night but... More

If you want a fun, loud, crazy dancing on tables night then this is your place. It's perfect for a group outing for birthday, bachlorette, girls night out. The staff gets the crowd drinking, dancing on tables (literally) and into the whole Greek experience. The food is good ( a little over the top on the oil though) and the... More

My wife and I just spent 3 nights in New York City and 2 nights in New Orleans, both cities renowned for their great restaurants. While visiting Atlanta to see our daughters we went to Taverna Plaka (because my wife had been here with her friends before). Olivia was our server and she was just fantastic. The food was even... The food was okay, but if you don't have a big party don't go to this restaurant on the weekend. It was 5 of us in our party and the waitress never waited on us because she was attending to the party tables. She didn't even refill our water glasses, and when we decided to leave and pay she came... More

Have been to many Greek restaurants and this is one of the best. Fun watching belly dancer and waiter was entertaining. Best hummus I have ever eaten is served free before the meal. You actually grind it yourself at your table. Will be sure to come back next time I am in Atlanta.

Overall experience was o.k. if you get over serving wine in whiskey glasses! Food wasn't anything worth traveling to that part of Atlanta. Not clean place and dirty bathroom. Very affectionate waitter. Restaurant was almost empty and two other tables used groupon. We had kebob and gyros. Gyros was very dry and cold. After we paid and left restaurant the... More

Friends were summoned to a very surprise birthday party at what we thought was a ordinary Greek restaurant. This was far from ordinary. When I walked in the restaurant the music was traditional and there was "OPA!" around with raining tissue confetti. There were dance lines around the restaurant, dancing on the table tops and a belly dancer! The drinks... More

We went to this restaurant yesterday, when we enter we had a great pleasure to see the ambiance was lively. We saw a belly dancer, we dance sirtaki and they were throwing paper towel in the air for a more festive atmosphere. The wine was delicious and the food was delightful. the only negative point was when the belly dancer... More

A little over the top - belly dancers even when there are only 2-3 people in the place. Average to good food. The hummus is fresh made at your table and particularly good. The flaming cheese stuff is overrated. Nice people, good service.

We were here with a large party for a friend's birthday celebration, and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. It was loud in the restaurant, but the music was good and the mood was upbeat. It was a bit difficult to have a conversation due to the noise factor, but it wasn't a deal-breaker because most of the time... More
