Another little Gem in hiding

Great food - great prices and super great service and drinks. We stopped and I got a Cuban and mojito Husband got a beer and a jambalaya. Dinners were excellent. Hit the spot - going back for more another time.

I went to this restaurant with a friend and we really just wanted to talk over lunch. The inside of the restaurant was very cute but the music and the combination of the noise of the people was just too loud for a good conversation. They had outdoor seating available even though it was chilly, and we sat out there... More

Fabulously fresh salsa and large portions of authentic Latin food with a nice patio where you can enjoy a meal outdoors. Chips and salsa are refilled quickly and service is fast and friendly. I had the pork quesadilla which was huge and filled with plenty of meat and cheese. My son had the chorizo quesadilla which was also tasty. I... More

We ate at the La Fonda on Howell Mill Road this weekend. Don't let the outside of the restaurant give you pause, trust me on this one. My husband, young son, and I shared the paella for two and it was plenty for the 3 of us. The paella was served in an iron skillet, I love iron skillet cooking... More

Although there are several La Fonda restaurants around Atlanta, I typically eat at the one in Buckhead. Nothing fancy, but it is a great local place with good service. While the menu does have some Mexican items, it is truly Latin - Cuban and Spanish. I think I have tried most of the items on the menu and have not... More

The food is excellent. It's a limited menu that is seriously Latin, so you have to know that going in. Also, often no A/C. It's my go to local spot to sit outside & get some comfort food I really like. The margaritas are 1st class too.

My brother used to live in Atlanta and told me I need to try La Fonda Latina. I found one around Buckhead and got to sit outside and enjoy my dinner. I had to go with the classic on their menu - paella. And margaritas. Delicious. I was alone, so I felt I got even better service that night. Great... More

What a great authentic restaurant. If you are craving ?Cuban or Mexican food, this us a definite go to location. From the vegi paella, to the Cuban sandwich varieties, or just your arroz con pollo, everything is great. The plantains and tostones are great starters. The combo frozen margarita / sangria is fabulous. Don't miss the gland. Entire party of... More

We didn't eat this location, but we ordered take out to carry with us to our hotel for our anniversary stay. The food was delicious and authentic. We ordered the ARROZ CON POLLO and the BOCADILLO LATINO ( a cuban sandwich). Great food and we didn't wait too long for them to cook the food. We hope to return and... More

A little swayed to almost dine elsewhere due to the dark appearance and the small size of La Fonda in driving by, we decided to try it anyway and we are certainly glad we did. I had the Paella, and it was excellent- it could've been a touch more authentic but for $10, it was a great bargain. I would've... More
