Food was in no way authentic Italian, as was the conclusion of an Italian visitor there at the time. Rooms are lovely and staff was attentive.

Portofino offers great Italian dishes with an emphasis on fresh seafood. Everyone in our party of 6 loved their selections. Great food, a quaint but lively atmosphere, courteous staff and a short walk from the St. Regis Hotel made this the perfect restaurant for our group.

Been here lots of times, and they are as good as you get in Atlanta for the money. They tend to under cook their vegetables ...the canellini beans especially. But overall a "9" as usual.

Wanted something special for my sweetheart. Our hotel made our reservations and we loved it! The warm cozy atmosphere, and the awesome way to eat all of Italy! The selections were abundant and the food was impeccable. The wine selection was nice and the wait staff and employees made us feel very welcomed! The ambiance was soothing and the restrooms... More

My wife and I visited this establishment on Christmas Eve. Staff was welcoming and departing staff was also very friendly. The overall feel is cozy and warm. Waitstaff was informative and friendly. Food was on a par with some of the best "American-Italian" we've had anywhere. Prices a little stiff but not unacceptable considering where this palce is located. We... More

Portofino Restaurant gives the visitor a chance to visit Italy through cuisine. Different regions of Italy are featured in a delightful menu that changes with the season. The outdoor patio is located on a quiet tree lined street. Fascinating art features both American and Italian motifs. The food is presented with style and the wine list is extensive. Servers are... I wanted to bring a big group here but they couldn't accommodate us. Instead I went with one of my business colleagues on a different night. It was raining so the porch was not open. That was too bad because it looked like it would really be a comfortable place to have dinner. We ate at a small table for... More

My husband and I decided to shell out a little extra for our anniversary. When we pulled up, we weren't expecting this cozy little place. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. We came in pretty early so we were the only ones for about 45 minutes. Our waiter was still checking on us and making sure we okay. The restaurant... More

I've been eating at Portofino for over 20 years. I took my Dad and my mom to Portofino for lunch yesterday, to celebrate his 88th birthday. We were among 2 other groups (mostly younger) doing the same. I have also taken my own "birthday group" there for my own birthday. Portofino has been one of my favorite restaurants because they... My wife and I dined at this restaurant @ 9:30 on a Friday night with 2 other couples, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Their outdoor patio and perfect weather combined for a great evening before we even placed an order. The beer, wine, and food were all well worth their price, but the server was not very personable. Everyone... More
