I love places like this, where the whole neighborhood comes together. One table will have kids munching a few large cheese pizzas, another will have a hipster band fueling up before a show at the Earl or 529, and still another will have an older couple on a date night. The pizza is good and gooey and the beers are... More

This is a no-frills type place. Behind the pizza counter you can see the action. Its a pay at the counter and they will bring the food to you, so slightly self service. But the flavors are good, the ingredients are fresh. They are open until 12 most nights. There are a handful of tables out back for outdoor seating.... More

Love this place - great sauce which as you know makes the pizza. Lately the pizza has been slightly off / last couple a little over cooked, not quite burnt but close. Love the atmosphere and the staff. Good selection of beer and even wine. Love love love the side salads. Meatballs are really good - just overall a good... More

Good Pizza in a Funky Neighborhood - what more can you ask for. Come grab a slice and stay for the shopping, bars, clubs, and nail salons that are all uniquely East Atlanta Village.

Grant Central is the main locally-owned, non-chain pizza place in EAV and I guess that's a main reason I'm a fan. The pizza is very good but I wouldn't say exceptional. The counter staff tends to be on the stoic/non-emotive side so first-timers don't expect even a slightly welcoming "how may I help you?". Well, it is EAV anyway. But... More

Great, friendly neighborhood pizza joint in the middle of eclectic East Atlanta Village. Great value too! We always get a large cheese for the kids (about $16 bucks) and a medium veggie for the adults. Not fancy, but just plain good. Great family place during the day and early evening, gets more ively later on when the hipster bar crowd... More

Today was my first visit. One word--YUMMY!! If I didn't live so far from this location, it would be a part of my carry out 'rotation'. Better than Pizza Hut, better than Papa Johns!

Been visiting this area of city for several years now. Can't believe I've never eaten here. Place was all round great. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed. Big open space and view into open kitchen. Pizza was crispy and ingredients were fresh. Lots of gooey cheese and ample pepperoni and sliced sausage. The pizza slices are huge. More than enough... More

I love NY style pizza and this place is the real deal! The servers are always great and the pizza is perfect. Thin crust, extra crispy at my request, and with fresh ingredients. The stone oven gives it a smoky flavor, which goes great with their beer selection. Definitely worth the drive to the east side if you are not... More

Great thick crust pizza. This has to be the best Pizza in Atlanta. I have been going here for about 6 years. Always interesting to people watch - and that is at lunch! Good cheap draft beer if you are interested but the thick crust pizza is the main attraction. Not skimpy on the toppings either. Great to stop here... More
