Friendly and good food, if expensive

I arrived early on a wet night and was warmly greeted by both the reception staff and the waiter. The food was a little bit different from the Italian norm and good for it, with a wide selection. The food I had was very good.

"VVV," as it is called by the locals, is a huge, gussied-up room with little, if any, charm. The food follows suit. The exception was an opening and excellent mixed green salad. Pappardelle, billed as house made, with duck and mushrooms, was overcooked and mushy. The duck was small shreds of dry meat, and the sauce was unremarkable. A rabbit... More

Was there for a Business Lunch in Midtown and the Italian menu seemed appropriate for people like us on an expense account. Service was friendly and attentive, but the timing and delivery was on the slow side. I felt that my homemade Pappardelle got a bit gummy near the bottom.

A friend told us about this restaurant and every time we are in Atlanta we eat here. The food is delicious and especially the Butternut squash tortellini!! My husband had the trout dish and it was wonderful too! The staff is wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful! We actually ate there twice this time because it's always so good!!! I... More

Since we were staying at The Artmore ths place was a logical choice for dinner that offered a walking distance experience. Modern upscale restaurant, excellent fish and lasagna ( horizontal, not vertical!) and nice wine list.

We had a group of 5 and were seated immediately. The server was very attentive and helpful with menu and specials. Everyone was satisfied with their food. I had the swordfish which was good, but was a bit cold. I wish they had more gluten free options. All in all it was a great time with a nice atmosphere.

Restaurants come and go but the reason this tried and true is still around is because the food is excellent, service warm and personal and in spite of the size, they manage to make it feel intimate.

I'm a native Atlantan and had not eaten at Veni Vidi Vici's in many years. The food was O.K. The service was terrible. We were with a large party of 13 and the service was S-L-O-W! The waitress was fine but it took forever for the food to be delivered to our table. I wouldn't mind slow delivery if the... More

The food and staff were excellent. This is fine dining at its best in Atlanta. The wine list was superb and the food was memorable. Julius was an highly trained and excellent waiter, he made our meal memorable and guaranteed a return visit. Bravo!

I've been here twice. Both times I loved the Charcutterie but not my actual meal. Drinks were lovely, service amazing. The appetizers delighted the group...proscuitto, Speck, cheeses, fritto misto, all magnificent. Both times, the entree disappointed. Pasta was too glutinous and thick, clearly it was made fresh but the flour ratio was off or something. I also tried the cioppino-like... More
