Great food, dinner style. One friend said it was the best sugar cured ham he had eaten in years. My other freind had a plate of corn beef hash and it was a hit. I had the BLT and it was great. Good prices and very good service. In the heart of Mid-town Atlanta and near Georgia Tech. A true... More

I reviewed this diner 3 years ago. I revisited it again but with a larger group of people. The verdict was hands down wonderful from the entire group. Service was great, food was just as good. Again the corned beef hash was a home run. If you're in ATL and looking for breakfast you can't go wrong here.

Breakfast was great. Mom and pop feel. Had read their lemon icebox pie was voted 1 of the top 5 in America. I completely agree. It was divine!

The exterior makes one wonder if they want to take a chance or not, especially coming from the side that appears to have once-upon-a-time been a catering extension, but has long since closed. Inside, you are instantly taken back in time. The decor is old, very very old, but appears to be well maintained and clean. I loved looking around... More

We had breakfast here on our last day in Atlanta. The biscuits were the best I have ever had in a restaurant! Eggs were perfectly cooked and the pepper gravy was so good with the biscuits. My only downer was I found the ham slice to be really salty, but then I am not a southerner... Service was friendly and... More

An Atlanta tradition. Good home-cooked southern breakfast - comfort food at its best. Great food and a bit of nostalgia as well. Service was exceptional and friendly. This restaurant has been owned by the same family since the '50's and caters to the regulars, the locals and many celebrities as well.

Service and food was very good and exceptional. We would eat the time and time again. Simple Southern cooking and down home service. Everything we ordered was wonderful. No wonder it has been around since the 1950's.

We always check out Diners Drive-ins and Dives locations when we travel. This place looked interesting. Lots of fried food. Good size portions. Our server was a real character. She said she was 75 years old! She was a hoot! Lots of parking available. Take a look at the back of the menu and display cases to learn how this... More

I stumbled upon this place by accident during my recent visit to Atlanta. I was staying in a hotel just around the corner and actually missed my turn so I had to make the block. After driving by the Silver Skillet, I decided to stop by for a late lunch before heading out sightseeing. Upon entering the restaurant I was... More
