This was the first place we stopped after we got off the plane. Great charm, friendly and engaging staff, best oatmeal in the history of planet Earth. Just do it.

Ok, we went online to find out what Atlanta restaurants were on Diners Drive-ins and Dives show on Food Network. The Silver Skillet was the closest to our destination so we had to try it. I loved the feel of the place. Businessmen would come in their suits and sit at the table. If they were regulars they would bring... More

Came here for first time after hearing about it for the first time and it lived up to expectations and then some. The Super Skillet Omelet and Southern Special pork chops were extremely tasteful yet affordable! I will be back!

We had to stop here after I read about the place in Garden and Gun magazine and looked at their website. Thought it would be a fun stop. It was! My son had the meatloaf and absolutely loved it. I had the open face roast beef sandwich and my husband had the country ham steak. Everything was prepared just as... More

Go there for breakfast or lunch. If you are in Atlanta, passing through, or want to go find some excellent places to eat, this has to be on your list. I love all things breakfast, and this one was sincerely one of the best breakfasts i've ever had. Simply put: you must eat here.

Great food, dinner style. One friend said it was the best sugar cured ham he had eaten in years. My other freind had a plate of corn beef hash and it was a hit. I had the BLT and it was great. Good prices and very good service. In the heart of Mid-town Atlanta and near Georgia Tech. A true... More

I reviewed this diner 3 years ago. I revisited it again but with a larger group of people. The verdict was hands down wonderful from the entire group. Service was great, food was just as good. Again the corned beef hash was a home run. If you're in ATL and looking for breakfast you can't go wrong here.

Breakfast was great. Mom and pop feel. Had read their lemon icebox pie was voted 1 of the top 5 in America. I completely agree. It was divine!

The exterior makes one wonder if they want to take a chance or not, especially coming from the side that appears to have once-upon-a-time been a catering extension, but has long since closed. Inside, you are instantly taken back in time. The decor is old, very very old, but appears to be well maintained and clean. I loved looking around... More
