I finally stopped in for breakfast after spotting this classic diner about 9 months ago. Very unassuming location on 14th Street West just over the bridge that crosses I-75, in a very bland, painted-white brick building. It serves breakfast all day and starts a rather extensive lunch menu at 11 am... read more

We ate here because we saw that it was on Guy's Dine-in, Diners, and Dives. How pleasantly surprised that the man that runs it with his wife, was a student at the college where we work! Small world! And the food was good, too! We ate breakfast there. And then shared a piece of pie!

This was a find from the Food Network as this diner has been on Guy Fieri's Diners Drive-ins and Dives. We had Country Fried Steak and Corn Beef Hash with eggs, grits, biscuits & gravy, and the kids had waffles. My mouth waters just thinking about how yummy this was!

Heard about this cool little retro diner on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Tried a little bit of everything and it was all quite good. Coffee was excellent. Our server was superb! We'll definitely be back to check out their lunch menu - especially the desserts!

The best part about having a meal here is to experience this very cozy, truly retro diner. The space is tight and the booths for two are teenie weenie. Service is good from the seasoned staff. The food is fine and the fried catfish strips and fried okra were quite good. Just o.k. but serviceable were the meatloaf (end piece,... More

Came here for breakfast while in town on business. Had a biscuit with country gravy, an over easy egg, a biscuit with red eye gravy, and grits. Great food and all of that totaled $7.50!!! Recommend.

This was highlighted on Dinners/Drive-ins/ and Dive's and it really isn't anything fancy but really good well cooked food at a reasonable price. Loved the breakfast but I heard that lunch is amazing too. Easy to find and right off the 85/75 on 14th street, give it a try if you are in town.

Chose the Silver Skillet because of it being featured on Diners, Dives and DriveIns. Truly a throwback in time and was very good.

Great food and fast service. A favorite for all the locals because of the gravy and biscuits, grits and service.
