Going back for my anniversary!!

Went here for a Christmas dinner with my wife in December 2015. The wait time to be seated was around 5-7 min (it wasn't crowded on a Thursday night) and the hostess was very friendly. The waiter was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were trusted. We ordered a wedge salad (literally... read more

We have dined at this Morton's on several previous trips that required us to stay in downtown Atlanta. Love walking in that simple wood door. When we arrived, with a reservation, we (a party of two) were seated by two parties of 6-8 businessmen. The two parties had obviously "loosened" up prior to our arrival and were quite boisterous. Needless... More

excellent meal, wine and service....I had a perfect filet and 48 hours later, I still have not had a substantial, Shaq-sized BM, which I would expect after such a meal. This in no way lessens the meal, and I still expect it to come out. Here come the Depends.

I've eaten here many times over the years. They serve up delicious prime beef every time and the service is always impeccable.

The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Wednesday night. So the service was good which is not always the case when there's no guests. The salad ( too much dressing) and tuna tower were good even when a bit big. The onion bread was too strong and didn't go with the food and even worth the wine. The filets were... More

The food was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. It's a good place to host a private event. However, I would not drive in to downtown for this restaurant. If you are in the downtown area and need to host a private event, consider this place. If you are looking for great steak, there are less expensive options likely in... More

Typical Morton's which means the food and service were outstanding and the price was way up there. Dinner with one drink and a glass of wine (12 oz filet) with tax and tip was $118. Having said that, it was the best beef I'd had in quite a while and it was perfectly prepared. Always a pleasure to go there.

We dined on Saturday evening at 8:30 pm. The dining room was mostly empty except for a few booths and tables sprinkled throughout the large dining room. Shortly after we arrived a large party of men came through and were seated in the center of the room. They proved to be animated and were subsequently moved into a private room,... More

One of my favourite restaurants in Atlanta is Morton's. Went there with two friends and we each enjoyed outstanding steaks done exactly the way each of us likes them. The sides were also very good indeed. Efficient and pleasant service and a very helpful maitre d'. A tip for first-timers. Parking is hopelerss in that area but the garage opposite... More

Had the opportunity to try an eye fillet here last week and it was fantastic. Almost as good as we get at home in Australia. Garlic french fries were a treat. Very expensive by Aussie standards though, and the exchange rate doesn't help. But I'd go back definitely.
