For a business dinner, we selected Morton's based on their name. Overall very attentive service, nice selection of appetizers and wine list. Restaurant itself is rather noisy. While their reputation is for amazing meat, I didn't find that it was an "oh my this is wonderful" level. I've had better corn fed Midwestern steak in other restaurants.

My Husband took me here for our 27th Wedding Anniversary. It was busy, noisy and manic. Our server was lifeless and anti social. The food was mediocre at best. My steak was suppose to be cooked medium but was rare and luke warm. Never during any of our courses did ANY staff come to our table to ask how the... More

The food was very good, we went during restaurant week so we have a fixed menu, so it was worth the 35 per person we paid, not sure I would have been as happy if we had paid full price for what we got. Our service was awful, we waited almost 45 minutes before our appetizers arrived. The manager came... More

I wanted a good steak, so I headed to Morton's. But the experience was thoroughly unpleasant. Inside was frigid, too cold for me. So I went to the patio. My glasses fogged up went I went outside. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed on the patio. Plus, the ribeye was mediocre. At Morton's prices, it should be otherwise. Only bright side was... More

Dinner with co-workers during a group meeting. Stuck in downtown area, so it was walking distance. New York Strip, large cut, prepared perfectly. Sides of grilled asparagus, au gratin potatoes and an appetizer of 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell with wine will set you back about $130. Was odd that the place was not nearly as busy as... I have been a Ruth's Chris loyalist for years but have always heard about the famous Morton's Steakhouse. Away on business I decided to give it a try. It was good, nice place, good food, but it wasn't of the level of a place that would get over $50 for a steak. If I'm going to spend that kind of... More

Morton's has great food and it is always nice to have steak prepared the way that they do it. However, this particular restaurant left us shocked and angry. The wait staff deliberately discriminated against the couple sitting next to us based on the color of their skin. It was disgusting.

The restaurant was a little hard to find, our GPS got completely confused. When we did get there, ten minute late, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cocktail menu was interesting, and the wine list were extensive, offering a good range of price and quality. You really have to have a steak (yes, there are other choices available,... More

Excellent food, exceptional service. A great place to go to celebrate a special occassion. We have been here several times and the steak is always perfect. This time we ordered surf and turf-the prix fix dinner for Valentines. The portions were appropriate. The wine suggested by our waiter was excellent. We always receive very attentive service at Mortons.

I have often found that a restraint located in the lower portion of a corporate building often lacks the depth of character and flavor diversity of a stand-alone facility. The Mortons downtown Atlanta continues that mantra. I had the 5 peppercorn strip, and it was just OK. For a Prime steak that hovers at $60, I would expect more.
