Great margaritas and food

I had the top shelf and spicy jalapeno margarita. Both were great! The service was very good and the food came out quickly after ordering. I had the jumbo scallops with grits and greens. The scallops were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. My wife had the barbacoa and chorizo taco with rice... read more

I have been to Agave many times and everything I have ever had was delicious! I like to go early (before 6) to beat the crowds because it can get very busy and isn't a huge place. My favorite dishes are the Cayenne Fried Chicken and the Stuffed Mountain Trout. The collard greens are the BEST I have ever had.... More

I only lived a few blocks from this restaurant and frequently go there on special occasions. The food is incredible and one-of-a-kind. The shrimp and grits is excellent. Really though, the margaritas are outstanding. They use real tequila and not versions. The inside is a great gathering place and beautiful.

I get excited just thinking about the food. It was an explosion of flavor from beginning to end. By far one of my favorite meals have been had at this restaurant. Parking can get a little sticky on busy nights. The place fills up quickly so if you can make a reservation ahead of time I would recommend it.

Went with a party of 12 on our way to a Hawks game. Got there two hours before tip off so were not rushed, but still late. We had a reservation and were seated a few minutes before our reservation time. It was 30 minutes before our order was taken. I understand that the wait person wants to rake care... More

What can I say? In all my times going to Agave, I have never, ever had a bad meal or experience. So much so, that whenever I have out-of-town guests, it's often the place I take them for their first Atlanta dining experience. As for the menu, I have had nearly main dish and have never left disappointed. The staff... More

The trout and shrimp we ordered was very good but because the plates were cold the shrimp was almost cold. We were told that the head chef wasn't there. The margaritas were great!

We booked Agave for our daughters 16th birthday party and took advantage of the chefs menu (served family style). They have free valet parking which was a pleasant surprise as we were traveling with a large group. The service was prompt and friendly. We had pre-planned the menu choices and a personalized menu was waiting in each place setting. This... More

Group dinner with colleagues. Fish taco apps were excellent. Calimari was very good (maybe a little too salty). My entree was the fried chicken and it was perfect. Nice amount of heat from the cayenne and presented well. Corn was roasted perfectly and potatoes were good too. They are a little light on the beer menu, but everyone else loved... More

Now that was an excellent dinner. From start to finish, the food was delicious and well presented. The fish taco appetizer and the shrimp and chicken entrees were especially wonderful. Service was great and the place has wonder atmosphere. Prices were reasonable considering the quality. This is a must-return restaurant.
