Knocked my socks off!!

It's tucked where you wouldn't expect it, but it's a must! Everyone that has come from out of town, I have taken to this restaurant. My fav is the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and roasted corn. Not what you think......it's a combination of southern food and Mexican flare....can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The appetizers were... More

This was our first visit to Agave, but it won't be our last. The food was outstanding along with the service. It is not a big place, but has plenty of character and heated outdoor (enclosed during cold weather) seating, too.

I rate it average, nothing outrageously bad or good. My husband had the chicken & green chile quesadillas that had cheddar cheese in them and they were scrumptious. Not fresh and neither was my Pozole soup which I love to make from scratch at home. Good flavor but it wasn't really soup. Ask for some oregano in it, and dip... More

We had reservations which was good as the place was overflowing with people. I just loved my Texas margarita. I usually order wine with dinner, but it seemed sinful not to enjoy their margaritas and selection of tequilas. We shared the ceviche as a starter but found it so spicy it was hard to taste the fish. I had the... More

Agave has become a regular favorite, and I've yet to be disappointed in the food, service or atmosphere. The food is very old world Mexican and the chief is from the AZ area and the mixture of both worlds shines through. They have a great tequila selection. My most recent meal was s stuffed trout and I just about licked... More

I was celebrating my birthday on 1/25/15 at Agave Restaurant with 9 of my friends. Just as we finished our order, one of my guests noticed a roach crawling down the wall! I immediately got the waitress attention and she came over and killed it. My guests and I were grossed out. I asked to speak with management. The "3rd... More

I cannot explain in words how much I love the Tuna Crudo appetiser. Its so perfectly balanced with heat and incredible flavour. I get it every time! The cheese grits and honey collard greens are amazing. I recommend the fiver scallops, mussels app, blue corn enchiladas, the chorizo beef taco entrée. Honestly you can't go wrong. Great service ( my... More

Recently I went to Atlanta with friends to participate in the Hot Chocolate 5k. Since the race had a really early start time we went up the night before. After picking up our packets at the GWCC we planned to have dinner downtown. However, the massive traffic changed our minds. We ended up at Agave and even though there was... More
