Amazingly good

We were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner so did not expect to have the best. However, we were more than pleasantly surprised be the quality of the offerings and service. Excellent, spicy New Mexican food - from the guacamole to the tuna and steak and the excellent wines and Prosecco. I would... read more

If you decide to dine here, go early. The noise level once the crowd arrives is unbearable. Food is....okay. Fish taco for $9 was finely chopped fish and other chopped mystery items, all rolled up one flour tortilla. No sauce, only a small piece of cilantro garnish. ValetMargaritas and wines are good with the decent Guacomole and salsa. Service was... More

This isn't your standard Mexican affair of just quesadillas and tacos. The entree section incorporates tons of choices/cuisines added with a spicy flair. But you do still get fresh and complimentary salsa. I chose the meatloaf made from veal, chorizo, and green chiles. It was so tender and full of moisture. It was paired with collards and mac n cheese.... More

With no expectations we went with some friends to this Restaurant and wow! the ambience, the food, the service, superb. Make sure to make reservations during the weekend as it gets busy for dinner. The only thing I was not impressed with was the margaritas, I think is a rip off and there are better margaritas in town. But no... More

Great service and food. Planning another visit soon. Drinks were also very good as well. Make reservations to avoid the wait.

What a complete and utter delight our first visit was to this most charming restaurant! My husband and I were on our way home from a trip to FL and I was craving Mexican food. I found Agave on TA and we decided to give it a try. The place was packed but we were seated in just under 10... More

It's tucked where you wouldn't expect it, but it's a must! Everyone that has come from out of town, I have taken to this restaurant. My fav is the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and roasted corn. Not what you think......it's a combination of southern food and Mexican flare....can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The appetizers were... More

This was our first visit to Agave, but it won't be our last. The food was outstanding along with the service. It is not a big place, but has plenty of character and heated outdoor (enclosed during cold weather) seating, too.
