Fantastic brunch with great atmosphere

As a first time visitor to Atlanta I was taken here for Sunday brunch. Atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, good choice of food and drink, great service. What's not to like!

Nice place to go with family as there is not such a focus on alcohol and drinking like a lot of establishments can be. The service was good and wait staff nice. I think the food was pretty average but the prices were high. I would not go back. Also we were seated by the restroom and the smell was... More

My wife and I used to go here often, but the menu kind of became a bit burger joint (and there are great burger joints in Atlanta) meets Applebee's. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine brunch place; it just doesn't appeal as much to me anymore.

My son and I ordered appetizers ,entrees, and desserts . All were perfectly executed and efficiently delivered . Service was one of the best we have experienced in Atlanta.

I live part time in Atlanta and I've been going to Murphy's for more than 20 years, however, my visits have dropped off in recent years because this restaurant consistently disappoints me. I'm perplexed by their popularity and I can only assume it is sustained by suburbanites who are used to eating at The Olive Garden at their local strip... More

We arrived 15 minutes early and they were able to seat us right away. We say up front on the closed in porch...which was either cold or a bit too hot when the heat clicked on. Eric (waiter from CT) was very pleasant - need to go back when he is bartending! We started with the Three Cheese flatbread -... More

We've eaten here several times on visits to Atlanta. It's always been pretty good. The house special bean soup was essentially a tomato based vegetable soup with chickpeas--tasty though not what I expected. Garlic-spiced spinach was good, as was my husband's sausage and spinach meatloaf. My son-in-law didn't really care for his sea scallops but my daughter seemed to like... More

Murphy's is an old favorite that never disappoints. My son and I dined there for dinner and our meal was outstanding. We were served hot, crusty bread with flavorful olive oil for dipping prior to our meal. We both ordered the chicken....it was prepared perfectly and served over delicious mashed potatoes with a side of asparagus. Flavorful and so good.... More

Great service... Not too busy. Mac n cheese disappointing. Not cheesy at all. Out of 2 desserts tonight. Not as good as past visits.

We have long enjoyed our annual group dinner at Murphy's during the holidays. However, our most recent visit was a real disappointment. While the service was top notch, the menu has changed for the worse. None of the items that made Murphy's a great place to dine were on the menu - instead, it appears that the chef/management are trying... More
