You will never find this place if you don't know about it - but if you love Thai, this is the place to go in Atlanta. My husband and I have both been to Thailand many times, and this is the most authentic (decor and food wise) place you can find. Panita is the sole proprietor and is the only... More

I never would've stepped into this place had it not been for my girlfriend so addicted to TripAdvisor. She discovered this place during our visit to Atlanta and we drove out of our way just to have dinner here. It was well worth it! Love how they get the food tasting so right, and still top it off with an... More

I've been to this place with family and friends many times over the years and the server never forgets our faces and preferences. The food has always been great (we order according to the type of meat and share everything) and atmosphere/decor is wonderful (though I've never seen the bar in use). It is run by only two people, so... More

Happened upon this little gem when our regular Thai spot was closed mid day. Hidden!!!! Tucked away in a Highlands side street you will find great food, great service by a husband and wife duo and a quaint atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Hidden in the Highlands. Authentic Thai food. Excellent atmosphere. Run by two people. Love this quaint little place so much. Best Pad Thai ever!

This is a great little hidden place in the highlands run by a staff of two. Although I've never met the husband (cook) in the kitchen, his wife (server) remembers us every time we come in and has always treated us well. The food is unique, but always good, with some variations from the typical 'American' Thai restaurant.

Sure, there are more popular Thai restaurants in Virginia Highlands. Save those for the crowds and head to a hidden gem just behind the main drag on Greenwood Street. Panita Thai Kitchen has got to be Atlanta's most unique Thai restaurant, totally charming. Housed in a rambling bungalow, the front door is actually just some hanging drapes that you swish... More

I went with some friends on a Wednesday night and it was great! This is not the place to get a quick, mass produced meal. The two owners do everything, and all food is fresh and made after you order. Take your time, sit outside, have some drinks and start with bags of gold. *parking can also be tricky in... More

My wife an I went here for lunch. We waited maybe 40 minutes despite being one of two groups in the restaurant at the time. Our food came. My Pad See Ew was honestly pretty good. My wife's dish was an inedible mess of salt and overcooked hot peppers. She asked to send her dish back and get something else... More

When I found this place I immediately fell in love. It felt like I was walking Thailand. It was dark yet quaint. The indoor seating is very small so it is better to go in spring in summer because most seating is outdoor. The service was friendly and the food was excellent.
