Hidden in the Highlands. Authentic Thai food. Excellent atmosphere. Run by two people. Love this quaint little place so much. Best Pad Thai ever!

This is a great little hidden place in the highlands run by a staff of two. Although I've never met the husband (cook) in the kitchen, his wife (server) remembers us every time we come in and has always treated us well. The food is unique, but always good, with some variations from the typical 'American' Thai restaurant.

Sure, there are more popular Thai restaurants in Virginia Highlands. Save those for the crowds and head to a hidden gem just behind the main drag on Greenwood Street. Panita Thai Kitchen has got to be Atlanta's most unique Thai restaurant, totally charming. Housed in a rambling bungalow, the front door is actually just some hanging drapes that you swish... More

I went with some friends on a Wednesday night and it was great! This is not the place to get a quick, mass produced meal. The two owners do everything, and all food is fresh and made after you order. Take your time, sit outside, have some drinks and start with bags of gold. *parking can also be tricky in... More

My wife an I went here for lunch. We waited maybe 40 minutes despite being one of two groups in the restaurant at the time. Our food came. My Pad See Ew was honestly pretty good. My wife's dish was an inedible mess of salt and overcooked hot peppers. She asked to send her dish back and get something else... More

When I found this place I immediately fell in love. It felt like I was walking Thailand. It was dark yet quaint. The indoor seating is very small so it is better to go in spring in summer because most seating is outdoor. The service was friendly and the food was excellent.

We had a family birthday dinner at this restaurant as we are all Thai food fans. The restaurant has a good wine and beer list and the food was excellent with unusual presentations. The restaurant itself is in an odd house in virginia highlands/atlanta with crazy decor and the lighting is very dim so if you like to really see... More

DISHONEST! Cheated me on the bill. Menu said Pad Thai was $11.95, but it was $18.95 on the bill. When asked about it, she (the owner's wife who now works there) said it was a printing error, and tried to find another menu with a "correct" price. Of course they all said $11.95. She then REFUSED to correct the price,... More

I have been to a lot of restaurants all over the US, Canada and Europe and I've never experienced anything like this! The host is the also your waiter, your bar tender and your chef. The food is to die for, so is the presentation and the ambiance of this place! If you are in Atlanta, you must check out... More
