a friend and I recently dined outside on the patio. Nice view, great ambience, super service. The food want bad either! If you are gluten free, they will prepare a dish especially for you. Everything was well prepared and served by an excellent server. Ask for Jennifer.

You have to overlook the people who sat too close to the kitchen or were not served as fast as they would have liked. I don't care if I have to sit on the floor in the vestibule. This is neighborhood store front first quality Italian food. The wife had an escarole salad with arugula that had her interviewing the... More

Two of us arrived at opening on Sunday evening, no reservation so we sat at the bar. Amazing bartender (sorry I didn't get her name!) who steered us in the right direction choosing our wine and our entrees. The grilled calamari appetizer was the best I have ever had! My friend had a pasta special..think creamy, kale added over a... More

This was perfect. Forget the negative side of other reviews of this superb restaurant in Atlanta, this was a great meal. The food was perfectly portioned, full of flavour and invention, the wine list was comprehensive and the ice creams were to die for. This is a small restaurant with a great ambience and a warm neighbourhood feel but the... More

Not great food. It was very bland and certainly not worth the price. We both agreed jarred pasta sauce was preferable to each of our selections. Service was acceptable. Wine list wasn't exhaustive but had a decent (albeit overpriced) selection.

Service, flavors, and atmosphere were all great here on both my first and second visits. This is a good choice for a romantic and spendy date. Vegetarians have options. Tip: It's fun to watch chefs cooking by your side, but sitting too close and therefore next to the heat lamps might impact your experience.

One caveat: it is difficult to find parking on the street. Go across the street to the valet parking in the bank parking lot and save yourself a lot of aggravation. My husband and I wanted a romantic dinner, and this fit the bill! Freddy our waiter was great and the food was outstanding. We ordered the grilled calamari; it... More

La Tavola is too say the least a neighbor gem. Its the kind of restaurant you would like to have in the neighbor you live in. I have dined here several times and the food is always good and very inventive. They have a good wine list and the desserts are always excellent. It gets really crowded and suggest you... More

The desk at the hotel suggested this restaurant and were they ever on target. They had a special, "abbondonza" (sp ?) of three courses and we added a meat/cheese board - Salumi board. Sanganioese wine. Fried (not overly done) pork belly, walnut gnocchi, and finally pumpkin flan. An Italian dinner eaten on a comfortably pleasant porch with great service. A... More
