Fantastic atmosphere

This was my first stop after arriving in Atlanta and checking into my hotel. I had been told by a few people that I had to stop by at least once, and I can see why. This is definitely my type of place from the decor down to the staff who were mostly young and edgy. While they were always... read more

Our first trip to Atlanta and first meal out of the hotel. Loved it! Great Veggie burger, hubby loved his meal too. Yummy cocktails. Only thing that spoilt it for me was the stuffed animal heads. Bathrooms immaculate which is SO important and often overlooked. Their menu and rules are hilarious. Waitress was nice. Would definitely recommend and revisit!

We ate at Vortex for lunch and loved it. We decided to eat outside due to it being a decent spring day. The restaurant is 21 and over due to their being a club adjacent to the restaurant. The food was delicious, my husband and I both had burgers: and they were amazing! We also had the spring rolls for... More

Atmosphere was nice. We sat outside. I had the Blue Shroom burger...mushrooms were from a can and lacked blue cheese flavor in the sauce. My husband had the Horseman burger and said it was really watered down in sauce that had no flavor. Our apps were good. We had fried zucchini and some kinda fried bbq and mac n cheese... More

Talk about hamburgers that appeal to any taste and appetite. Very creative names and fitting. Staff friendly, service good, quick. Can serve large groups, but might but be a problem during busy times. Worth the stop.

Well, this place isn't for the faint-of-heart or the conservative. Tattoos, phallic symbols, pin-ups and great draft beer and burgers. I had the zombie burger and some Atlanta Craft Beers. All were delicious. Everyone at the table was pleased. Portions are giant. Service was a bit slow, but it's part of their "atmosphere" - they don't really care how they... More

There's no much to look at and so much good food to choose from. Be prepared for a large eye opener when you walk in lol. Drinks were tasty and the food was amazing. I wish we had a restaurant like this in my home town. Can't wait to go back.

This is a place as a local, I always enjoy making a trip to. The staff is always on point, the food is phenomenal, the menu is even entertaining. They also have a comedy club attached to it which is a lot of fun, open mic night is the best! Highly, highly recommend the place!

I enjoyed my burger here but nothing really stood out for us. Enjoyed the menu and the decor and we even bought a t-shirt. It is very popular and we went because we love a good burger, but there are much better ones in the city. And who can't make a frozen tater tot? If the bar scene is your... More

Found Vortex not far from our hotel on a recent trip to Atlanta and wound up having two meals there. Initially, the fact that smoking was allowed inside threw me off, but it really didn't bother us at all- the place was well ventilated. I can't comment on everyone's meals, but we all had burgers and we all enjoyed them-... More
