The food is great and the service is excellent. Dining outside is a nice experience! The location is close to everything in downtown Atlanta.

We live two blocks away; I'd never been here before, while my wife had. It was early on a Friday evening - the place was 80% empty. Service was instantaneous. The food was comforting, well-done, and just what you'd expect as far as menu items, plus a few surprises. More about that in a minute. What did seem "new and... More

I often eat at Baraonda prior to plays/shows. Although I enjoy their food, I probably will not return as their service was disappointing to the point of ruining our night. The server was rude, quick to dismiss any questions, and simply did not care. After a $150+ meal for two, we were dissatisfied and late to our play.

An easy walk from our hotel, The Georgian Terrace, to The Baraonda. Actually across the street for the hotel. Menu is a bit limited, not too many "traditional" dishes on the menu. What we ordered was very good and that's all you can ask. Service was a little slow, but if you're not in a hurry it was fine. It... More

Italia cuisine starts with your entrance into a casual atmosphere filled with the aroma that is unmistakable. Their Chef brings recipes that are renowned at "Baraonda's". Their oven hot single serving of Lasagna in a cast iron dish has to be the best I ever experienced. Also, Shawn our waiter kept us in Italian bread and olive oil for the... More

Nothing overly exciting, we were eating late so we had to sit in the bar and they were out of one or two items on the menu. We both started with the Gorgonzola salad (just ok, a bit over priced at $11) then had the Lasagna and Gigli with wild boar sausage. Out mains were good. If you are looking... More

Wonderful mimosas for only $3.50 and a delicious omelet with goat cheese. Would love to return for dinner.

Service was slow but food was good. Slow night so was a little surprised. Atmosphere was really nice.

My husband and I went to Baraonda for a casual Friday night dinner and we loved the restaurant. The outdoor porch is great for people watching and service was perfect (not too hovering, but always available). We ordered a pizza as an app and each ordered a pasta. We were in agreement that the pizza was better for pizza than... More

Nice place with terrace. Always busy with a nice bar. Traditional menu and food is good. Als the winelist is ok.
