Small but Mighty!

Apres Diem is a small restaurant located in a mini mall next to Trader Joe's & is a great place to finish up or begin if you are going to the movie theater next door. Their menu is very innovative-from eggs to scallops & covers all the bases for what you are looking for. We had the Huevos... read more

Apres Diem has a convenient location near Piedmont Park. With indoor and outdoor seating, it provides solid traditional brunch, lunch and dinner choices year round. Most entree's for brunch are $8-$12 making it fairly priced given the location in Atlanta. Service can be a little slow so be prepared to wait, especially if you're in a group of six or... More

This was not my first visit. I really enjoyed myself and food the first time. This time however, my service was crappy. I really wish I had gotten the waiters name, but he was horrible. He acted like he did not want to serve us. It took him forever to bring us water. When he finally did, all 3 glasses... More

I've been to Apres Diem for brunch, lunch and dinner and all have been terrific. It's situated conveniently next to the Landmark Midtown Cinemas and my wife and I try to make Apres Diem part of the itinerary when we go to a film there. Top recommendations: The Crabcake Benedict for brunch (I'd be hard-pressed to think of a better... More

I was greeted sincerely and the patrons were the most diverse I experienced in memory. The meal was perfectly prepared, presentation made it appetizing and service was adequate. The mix of PA music was awesome. . . seemed like something for everyone. Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable and encouraged interaction with other patrons if the feeling arose.

Have been to this and its sister cafe at the northern perimeter many times. Apres always shines in comparison to Carpe with respect to service and food (Carpe is really, in my mind, a good for coffee and dessert only.) Took my young daughter to Apres early one Friday evening. All interior tables were already taken so we were seated... More

A party of six, we arrived at the restaurant around 4 p.m. on New Year's day. For most of us, this was our first time at Apres Diem. They quickly helped us pull three tables together so that we could all sit together, in a corner area, out of the way of the rest of the restaurant. Karen, our server... More

I came here for a professional lunch meeting and it was a good fit. My meeting was more informal in nature so I wasn't looking for anything too "uppity". The restaurant was fairly open at 12:30 and we seated ourselves. The staff was decent. I ended up with their fish of the day sandwich which was pan seared flounder on... More

I've had the privilege of dining at Apres Diem many times for my monthly French language meet ups. And as such I wanted to bring my visiting in town girlfriend to this happening place. The atmosphere is great and the staff has been friendly and welcoming. That is why I was surprised by our waiter (Colleen)'s demeanor during our visit.... More
