"The secret to beautiful food is using the ingredients in their most natural form." At Chef Marla Adams' Atlanta Restaurant, life imitates art in a remodeled 1916 bungalow, nestled between the historic Inman Park and Poncey-Highland neighborhoods. You'll feel like a foreign film star as Babette's Cafe brilliantly brings Isak Dinesen's story of food, grace and community to vivid and delicious life in a rustic, European setting. For twenty-two years, Babette's Cafe has offered the flavor of stepping into a restaurant that is tucked into the French Countryside, making diners forget that they are just minutes away from downtown Atlanta.

Always looking for an excuse to go back to Babette's

Although it's a 30+ minute drive from our home, we're always delighted to dine at Babette's. We often visit for special birthdays and occasions. The entire experience is always outstanding - from small plates through dessert. And the bagettes! We love being seated on the patio in the back.

We've been going to Babette's for...lost count of how many years. Absolute perfection. For everything for a special occasion to a spur-of-the-moment date night. The food, drinks, and service are always top-notch. Marla runs a delightful restaurant! Many thanks for all the beautiful memories

We've been coming here for years with our neighbors. The duck, when in season is crisp, meaty, delicious. The Margaritas are made with pure lemon juice! The home made ice creams, cakes, tarts, crime brûlée is delightful. Definitely add it to your top choices in Atlanta.

This is such a great restaurant and well worth the trip in from Fayetteville to dine with Marla and crew. We always have favorites but they manage to throw a curve at us with specials for the night. And this does not disappoint. We always leave with such good vibes when we dine there.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Babette's. The tasting size of carrot soup was great. The salad was terrific. The entree was prepared to perfection and delicious. My wife's dessert was topped with a candle. We dine at Babette's quite often and it never disappoints us.

This visit was our third to Babette's Café. Every time we've been there, we have enjoyed everything about the place. The food is excellent, as is the service, and the setting. This is not a loud, trendy restaurant. It is an excellent restaurant where you can hold a conversation with your dinner companions and enjoy a wide variety of appetizers,... More

Recently dined again at Babette's Cafe, and kicked myself for not dining there more often. There were so many items on the menu that I wanted to order it was really tough to choose. Fortunately, Chef Marla's terrific paella was back for the summer season, so after the escargot appetizer I chose that. It was perfect. As was the service,... More

Love this restaurant. Been going for 20 years - and in Atlanta that says a lot that it has remained open and consistantly very good for that many years. The Spring menu is out which means Navarin of Lamb in a delicious pastry crust, Alaskan halibut with a Mustard Vinaigrette and Potato-Leek Gratin and other wonderful dishes. The Veal Piccata... Recommended by friends. We were seated promptly. The place seemed charming, but it would have been prettier after dark. The menu is not long, but is varied. My wife had the scallops, and I had the duck - they were both very good. The wine menu was good as well. We didn't have dessert, but our appetizers were also good.... More
