We had an excellent dinner for 4. There are some good and fairly priced wines on the wine list . The beet salad was refreshing. The duck was outstanding and so was the skate fish. The table was a little cramped for 4 people. Overall, an excellent choice .

We've been dining here for more than a decade, maybe > 15years which is remarkable in fickle Atlanta. The ambiance is charming French country. We usually order cassoulet which is only available in the winter months, but we switched it up and ordered the black bass and the skate specials. I had entree envy as I loved the flavor of... More

Unpretentious fine dining, perfect for a romantic evening. Seasonal menu is not large, but varied, everything we have ordered here has been superb. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and very attentive, they make you feel like family. An Atlanta gem!

We were a party of four at 7:00 on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was about half full -- which makes no sense because the food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. There was an excellent pri fixe menu and the server did a great job of explaining the best choices on the menu. Decent wine selection, and... More

We've dined here several times and it always strikes me as an unpretentious, quiet, inexpensive fine dining restaurant that treats everyone as a special regular (most customers probably are) The menu is not extensive, but seems to have something for most tastes - we have a serious affinity for the piroshkies, which causes us to venture ITP from our suburban... Babette's Cafe has become our "go to" "feel good" place. My wife and I have dined there countless times and have never been disappointed. The menu varies from season to season, always being updated with wonderful goodies that are consistently prepared to perfection. The serving staff, many of whom have been there for many years (like Robin and Nollie) take... More

There is just something about Babette's that makes it just right. The location is a converted house. The food is delicious and the portions are reasonable. The desserts...yes, do it! The service is professional, engaging and consistent. The locals love this place and it has a good group of 'regulars'. Everyone is comfortable. You won't be wowed. You will be... More

Incompetent waitress who spilled an entire pitcher of water at our table, one indelible entree and three sub par entree. Will not be back!

Babette's Cafe is a charming place, with a great ambience created by the subtle decor and a sense of coziness. Somehow, even though the tables are not particularly widely spaced, there was a sense of privacy; and though the restaurant was full, the noise level was low and conversations at nearby tables could not be overheard. This, for us, created... More
