Very good meal

Recommended by friends. We were seated promptly. The place seemed charming, but it would have been prettier after dark. The menu is not long, but is varied. My wife had the scallops, and I had the duck - they were both very good. The wine menu was good as well. We didn't have dessert, but our... read more

Very casual French restaurant--how unusual. The service is spot on. Wine selection is adequate, but beer variety is limited. Terrapin Rye Ale paired surprisingly well with roast duck. Highly recommend the duck!

My wife and I ate here for our special anniversary dinner at the suggestion of the owner of the Shellmont Inn. We were definitely not disappointed! Babette's is a house that was converted into a restaurant, giving it a nice at-home feel. Although it was a very busy night, the service we received was top-notch! The valet was efficient, yet... My wife and went here for an early dinner (6pm) after seeing a play at the Alliance Theater. Valet parking is offered, but the valet parker was difficult to understand. His accent made it clear he was not from the south (Jersey??) Anyway, we thought about parking in the Manuel's lot but went back. The second valet parker was much... More

Enjoyed dinner with local friends who recommended this lovely restaurant. The braised ribs were excellent. The braised beef was very good. A couple of us had the skate fish special and liked it.Don't miss dessert- chocolate bread pudding with banana ice cream- yum!

We had an excellent dinner for 4. There are some good and fairly priced wines on the wine list . The beet salad was refreshing. The duck was outstanding and so was the skate fish. The table was a little cramped for 4 people. Overall, an excellent choice .

We've been dining here for more than a decade, maybe > 15years which is remarkable in fickle Atlanta. The ambiance is charming French country. We usually order cassoulet which is only available in the winter months, but we switched it up and ordered the black bass and the skate specials. I had entree envy as I loved the flavor of... More

Unpretentious fine dining, perfect for a romantic evening. Seasonal menu is not large, but varied, everything we have ordered here has been superb. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and very attentive, they make you feel like family. An Atlanta gem!

We were a party of four at 7:00 on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was about half full -- which makes no sense because the food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. There was an excellent pri fixe menu and the server did a great job of explaining the best choices on the menu. Decent wine selection, and... More
