Great stop for Sunday brunch

Absolutely awesome brunch with my family this past Sunday. Great atmosphere (a little loud but positive energy that comes from great food). No ridiculous waiting time was a big plus.

There's nothing better than a Cuban sandwiches from Papis. This place is a must visit. Guaranteed to be back.

I came across this restaurant by accident while wandering around Midtown. The food was incredible and very generous in portion sizes. But, you if you like the Puerto Rican mofongo, you HAVE to try the Fu fu! The establishment is a little small, but it's quaint and fits the neighborhood exceptionally well. And, the café Cubano? Best this side of... More

Papi's was recommended by friends who live in the area and are of Cuban decent. We met them there and had an authentic Cuban lunch. Huge portions of tasty food and great prices. It's kind of small inside but very neat and clean. Tastefully decorated and friendly. Had one of the lunch specials which was larger than some dinners and... More

Good lunch or dinner spot. Menu revolves around more Cuban influences and less Caribbean, but flavors are delicious and robust. The Cuban sandwich is a must-try - they use tender and juicy pork and just the right crusty bread. All the coffee selections are also wonderful and a nice divergence from standard American coffee.

Last minute decision when another restaurant had a long line - extremely pleased with the deliciously flavorful meal we had. Will be back next time we come to the Fox Theatre. Within walking distance.

The food was very well prepared and the service was fast. Great authentic recipes. Ropa vieja, croquetas, fufu - all very good. This place ain't fancy and most of the folks eating here have ties to the Cuban community or are students or are lost (or savvy) Atlanta tourists. My son introduced me to this place while he was a... This place is just a little hole in the wall, but the food was great and abundant. The Ropa Vieja was very tasty as was the Vaca Frita. We were only in town one night and my only regret is that I can't come back and try the other food on the menu. Wait staff was very friendly and the... More

The service was quick, friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I loved the décor and variety of selection. It was a pleasant lunch experience for me and a reuniting friend.

The wife and I were visiting Atlanta and decided to grad something for dinner. She found Papi's and we decided to give it a try. This happened to be the Jazz festival weekend so parking was at a premium but after one route around the block a space opened up in their parking lot. We went in the place and... More
