Great Cuban food outside of Miami

We stumbled across this place because the line at the place across the street was too long. We were so glad that we found this place. The food was great and the owner waited on us and was very helpful with our orders. We got the pork and chicken entrees and side orders of fried plantains. The... read more

Ponce De Leon location beats Miami and Tampa offerings for Cuban sanwiches. Delicious, huge portions - I ate all. Rice and beans delicious as well. Not to be missed. Fun neighborhood, authentic feel inside.

Nice size, get there early for lunch, long lines. The best black bean soup ever had. Plantains are excellent, yellow rice cannot be beat. All this with a great friendly staff. Great pricing. Do not miss this place when in Atlanta.

Excellent, Excellent foods. I love it. It is authentic and great Cuban cuisine. Added to the excellent foods .... the portion of each order is a great size ... it can feed a big guy. I ordered a Ropa Vieja (shredded beef) with red beans and white rice .... Excellent dish. My wife ordered the Pollo Vaca Frita (Shredded chicken... More

I judge every Cuban restaurant by how well they do my favorate dish-Vaca Frita. To my surprise,it's even better than mine and I grew up learning from the best-my mother!!! If you play it safe and order the Cuban Sanwich, don't get it confused with another entry that adds lettuce and tomatoes to it. That is a no-no for the purists... More

A Cuban sandwich sounded good so we thought this place would do the trick but OH MY GOSH--- it was so much better than expected. It's a cool little space, not too big or fancy but it's all about the authentic food. (Authentic, I think... Haven't been to Cuba :) ...one day) Husband had a Cuban sandwich and I had... More

This place is off the chain, off the hook, fire, and every expression I can think of for totally awesome. My friend and I were visiting for the weekend to see a show at the Fox Theatre and we wanted to check this place out. The atmosphere is very authentic with the Cuban music and tons of Latin/Cuban people. We... More
