The food at Papi's Cuban & Caribbean Grill is absolutely fantastic, as well as the drinks. I highly recommend the margaritas. Everything on the menu is great, however the service here needs work. We stood at the front door for about 10 minutes waiting on a table. The waitresses passing by us never said a word to us. When a... More

Apparently, this place is no secret! We had to wait about 10 minutes for lunch on a Wednesday. Once seated, it took a little while for our server to get to us but not due to a lack of trying. The place was totally packed (and loud). Our server was very friendly and helpful in pointing out a couple alternatives.... More

At Papi's you can get a platter of Cuban cuisine for around $10. I got ropa vieja and my boyfriend got the steak. Both were served with rice, beans, bread, salad, and plantains. It is a great deal! I also got one of their mixed drinks and was not impressed. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and saw... More

Visited Papi's for the first time last week. A small Cuban restaurant and bar that was packed out! We sat at the bar because it was the only place left. Sergio the bartender made excellent Mojitos for me and me wife. Food was awesome, and the atmosphere was great. I had the pork wrap with rice, which was delicious, and... More

Papi's is a great lunch spot. The sandwiches are large and average $6-7 a piece, making it a pretty good deal. Their cafe cubano is PERFECT (as it should be). Very authentic Cuban cuisine. The restaurant gives off a "hole-in-the-wall" vibe. Don't expect much of the service, but it's not terrible, just average.

Excellent lunch. Very clean, great location in Midtown on Ponce, plenty of seating and the food was awesome. I had the special with shredded steak, rice, plantain, and black beans. Very good. I ate with my co-worker who is Columbian and he enjoyed it as well.

This was our second time here, and we came back to find it specifically because we had loved it so much about four years ago. We were NOT disappointed! The restaurant is super funky, three levels, and vibrant with color! We ordered yuca fries as an appetizer and that was our favorite way of eating yuca yET! YUM!! Then we... More

Very friendly. Willing to accommodate senior needs. Food very good. Little error on bill but perhaps our fault.
