Gruby's NY Deli is just what it says it is: it is a deli with the NY attitude. Love everything about this place. Nice people, great food in a deli atmosphere. Love the matzo ball soup and the ny Rueben is exceptional!

Their matzoh ball soup is great. I enjoy breakfast here occasionally. They're only open for breakfast and lunch. Wish they opened a little earlier on Saturdays.

There are some great NY photos and art on the walls which are worth a look! We sat right next to a NYC panoramic that included the Twin Towers: Statue of Liberty to Brooklyn. This place is close to 400 and 285 on Johnson Ferry Road. Extensive deli menu, including many tongue options. Food came quickly. Service was solid. Rueben,... More

We started with the mushroom barley soup which was delicious. Then we shared a turkey club. Watching our waistlines. I saw the deli sandwiches corned beef and pastrami and they looked absoluting yummy

First thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant was the smell of grease. After a while I placed my order, eggs with lox and onion, with side of potatoes. The food did not have correct appearance on the plate: the eggs had a funny color and were oily. The potato chunks were dark brown and appeared to have been... More

In spite of some of the negative reviews I have seen on this deli, I have always had a good experience here. This is definitely not the Carnegie Deli but it is a NY style deli experience including some of the wait staff who treat patrons like they are serving in NY. Soups are usually pretty good and my colleagues... More

Definitely average. Near my office and a regular place. Nothing too special one way or the other on this place. Food is fine, staff is fine, wait times are fine, price is fine. Good array of custom sandwiches, though I didn't like the liver sausage one.

Would give a zero if it was possible, mainly because the manager there has no customer service and is completely disrespectful. On top of that, their food is horrible!! It's right near my office so we have taken so many clients there, but nobody has ever found something "good" on the menu. But after the disrespect from the "Manager" today,... More

I do not really like to write negative about any places, but, this place does not do justice to its location, food or service. Its an average American Deli, but requires a makeover - both w.r.t food as well as atmosphere. Not as pricey ad others, but, hey, we need better food. Hopefully, am the only case where it failed.....
