While visiting Little Five Points for vintage clothes shopping, we decided to try the Wrecking Bar because we saw chicken pot pie was on the menu. My husband enjoyed the selection of beers while my son-in-law thought the In the Park cocktail was very refreshing. I was disappointed in my Southern Dirty Martini-not salty enough. The Rabbit Wing starter was... More

6:30 Sunday night, lots of places I would like to have visited are closed. Wrecking Bar offers great pub fare (locally sourced or house made where possible) in a casual, welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. A singer with an acoustic guitar played softly in the background as we sipped our excellent brews and dined on tasty sandwiches. I had the smoked trout... More

I threw a birthday party for 10+ people (11/15/14) and even though they normally do not take reservations, Stevenson allowed my group to have the Biergarten from 5pm-7:30pm. A small group of us met after 4pm to check out the free brewery tour. We all grabbed a beer at the bar beforehand. The bar had a nice atmosphere, dim lighting... More

The final stop of a 3 bar mini-tour and very happy we found it! Beers were all tasty, though nothing stood out as a WOW beer. The food we tried was all excellent - especially the fries and the mac and cheese! Loved the way the meat and cheese tray was served - visually appealing and tasted amazing. Cool decor... More

Followed Tripdadvisor reviews and took a cab from downtown. About 15 minutes. Almost missed as facility is in a large older brick and stone house from the early 1900's. Restaurant is in the lower level, what used to be the basement but is now tastefully renovated to resemble a grotto or rathskeller. Good selection of beers made on premises, including... More

A great brew pub housed in a restored mansion. Much above average food for a bar. Great selection of bourbons and whiskeys, and interesting specialty coctails. What really sets it apart for me is the vegetarian option--a seitan wrap--and without doubt the best mac and cheese in the city. Mac and cheese is one of my favorite dishes in general,... More

The food at the Wrecking Bar was average at best. It probably would have tasted better if our server got our order right - but he didn't write anything down for our table of 5. We had to send all the burgers back because they were cooked incorrectly. By the time they came back half the table had cold dinners... More

Came here while on business. We ordered a pint of their craft beer. Beer was very good and only $4. Burger with a side for $10 was excellent. GM came over and made me a new burger as mine was made wrong which was impressive. Fries were also fresh. Menu has interesting items on it using local ingredients.
