Great place

I really like this place and have been there a number of times. They make their own beers, which are excellent....especially the Gemmy Dean breakfast stout and their various IPAs. My son took me to the Wrecking Bar Brewpub for father's day. This building is unique and the space was interesting. Although relatively small and quite busy, the tables were comfortable and the atmosphere was interesting. The service, beer and food were all excellent. One of the options this restaurant offers is smaller "tastes" of beer. We sampled several of... More

I really do not know what to say about this place other than just go. The beer is fantastic and their food is arguably even better. The pastrami, fried pig ears, mac n cheese, corn pups, burger, pulled pork sandwich and cheese board are my favorites there. I know that didnt help you out much, but seriously just order the... Wrecking Bar is located in a beautiful space - the granite-walled basement of an old house in Little Five Points. Whoever designed the space did a wonderful job. It is especially nice in the summer when it is hot outside and cool inside. The beer is also terrific. On our last visit, we had the Hopback Mountain Imperial Rye India... More

We enjoyed the good food, had pastrami and pulled pork which were very good. They also had a nice beer selection. Note to visitors, it is in the basement of a big old house that is vacant above, need to go around the side to get in.

I love the beer: a great variety brewed in housr. The food is cut above most brew pubs. I like the salads and the beer marinated stews.

Loved the downstairs feel, the stone walls and wood were great on a hot day. We loved the mix of beer.

We were in town visiting family and wanted to check this place out. What a great surprise! the beer menu is very impressive and the food is really fresh and good. The atmosphere in the brewpub is fun and interesting - love the building. Definitely would go back.

Approaching from the road, one sees the sign in front of a circular, grand, colonnaded building. What?? This is a brewpub? Ah! The entrance is around the back, and the place is in the cellar. That's better. On a Tuesday evening, the atmosphere was a hum of conversation in a brick room full of wood furniture. The service was outstanding:... More

My family went to this location on a recent road trip for the craft beer. The dinner was surprisingly good and so was the beer! We ordered the cheese fondue which was excellent and was served with an assortment of unexpected dipping items like radishes which were delicious! We also had the meat plate which was also very tasty. For... More
