Total Atlanta Treasure

I have been to the Wrecking Bar Brewpub several times, most recently June, 2015. This place is a true Atlanta treasure as there isn't one other restaurant that offers the historic richness, tremendous craft beer and an outstanding foodie like experience. the setting alone is worth the visit, even... read more

This is not your father's brewpub! The food was great, and don't expect typical brewpub food. This is a real hidden gem. We had the trout, pork loin and chicken. All were delicious.

The food here was excellent. Inventive and different, but without being too off the wall. The fish sandwich and I think corned beef were our picks for lunch and they didn't disappoint. My husband also said the beer was fantastic, and the ambiance is really neat too. It is the basement of an old house, so original stonework. They also... More

Four of us had dinner here. The burger was fantastic and greatly enjoyed. The Calabrian sausages were not spicy as described and were served quite undercooked but the red pea accompaniment was superb. The arctic char was raw in the middle but the accompaniment was again excellent. The shrimp dumplings were shrimp and scallop dumplings the night we were there.... More

The atmosphere was different than any other restaurant/bar I have ever been to. The service was excellent. The food was good. Nevertheless, they didn't have any ciders. the prices weren't really high but the dish sizes were somehow small.

Not your typical pub! Gastro pub at it's best. Excellent menu and many good beers to choose from! Try their Choco Mountain Imperial Breakfast Stout. Delicious! The food: Salty cod croquets were good but cod got lost in potatoes. My trout was perfectly cooked but I didn't like the sour cream potato cake that didn't go well with the fish.... More

Went with a group of 15. Despite reservations, there were no tables large enough to accomodate us nor enough open seats in the restaurant section. We were placed in bench type seats in the lounge right in front of the band (a tasteful guitar duo, we didn't have to talk over them...), but the arrangement kept us from talking with... More

My wife and I chose this place on the way out of Atlanta. Very pleased with that choice. I had the beer boiled peanuts, and one of the BEST fish sandwiches I've ever had. Wait...THE BEST. I might drive back to Wrecking Ball for this sandwich alone. Server was good and knowledgeable. Menu had a lot of diversity but wasn't... More
