Relaxing night, great sharing menu

I was interested in this place because it listed tapas. Wine isn't my core thing, so all of the bottle of wine around me were wasted. The waiter made a flight for me which I enjoyed. Which I remembered what I had...We had edamame, shrimp & grits, short ribs and flat bread pizza. Wasn't the... read more

The first red flag should have been that there was only 2-3 other tables at 7:30 on a Friday night but I had been wanting to try this place and my husband and I were due for a date night. The wine was good...but that was about the only thing. I get that this is a tapas restaurant but the... More

First time diner and it was a great experience. Laura was an awesome waitress and made out dinner that much better. Food was very good. Crab and Shrimp Ceviche was great! The Short Rib was very tender and a knife was not needed. Enjoyed the muscles as well. They had a good selection if wine as well. They are also... More

Worst experience I have had at a restaurant in years. Service was EXTREMELY slow, this restaurant only had 7 other tables while I counted 4 servers and manager on the floor. This is supposed to be a tapas restaurant but all our plates came out at the same time 1.5 hours after ordering! The crime in this being some of... More

I have been here a couple of times and very much enjoyed both, but I wouldn't go here if you are in a hurry. The service is friendly but always seems overwhelmed and behind. The food and wine is great though, with a wide array of tapas and a nice wine list. Try this place on a night when you... More

Never been on a regular night, but I can tell you, poor execution on popular nights. Atmosphere is lost as they work to cram additional tables into the space. We were initially seated next to the service door. Some other tables were equally as bad. Surprisingly, only choice was a Prix Fix menu for $90/couple. No fish option was offered... More

We went to Cellar 56 because we had a coupon. It is tucked into a strip shopping center with no frontage, so you really need to know where you are going. the restaurant is comfortably dark, with a big bar, and comfortable tables, the back wall decorated with wine bottles. At first the piped in music was intrusive, but they... More

Need I say more....went on a Groupon and was allowed anything on the menu. The lamb was exquisite! The shrimp ceviche was awesome! The service was incredible and the prices were more than reasonable. Just go!

My friends and I booked a reservation here for July 18, 2013 to celebrate a birthday. We were excited to try a new place and the menu looked really great. I have to say that the food was really good and all of us loved everything we ordered. The strawberry salad, spicy mac and cheese, and BBQ eggrolls were standouts.... More

Out of 6 small plates and 4 glasses of wine, we had one wine that was drinkable and 1 small plate that was edible. The red wine risotto was good. The "famous" short rib was like shoe leather. It was not a short rib; it was a hunk of stringy dry chuck roast with no bone. Fried green tomato was... More
