This was our first visit to Goin Coastal and it was great, very casual yet if you dressed up you would noty be out of place, its in Virginia Highlands at the corner of Highland and Virginia, I can't beleive I worked on a job with in walking distance and never saw it. We started with the fresh oysters, and... More

Goin' Coastal is casual, creative and comfortable, the right place for fresh, local caught and imaginatively prepared seafood. Entrees change frequently and a first visit prompted the hope that some of the recipes are recycled and returned. An olive oil poached salmon was superb, as was the yellowtail done 'skinny' without added condiments and sauces. Diners can create their own... More

A bunch of the seafood places around town specialize in fried anything. I am not a fried food eater so this place appeals to me much more than other. Its sustainable-ness is nice too. I would have normally gotten the lobster macaroni but they didn't have it. I have had it in the past and its was excellent. I did... More

My wife and I had an excellent dinner here! Ate at one of the table on the sidewalk, and Paige took very good care of us. From the blue crab dip appetizer to the Coastal tilefish and blackened wolffish everything was delicious. We will definitely return.

Small family owned restaurant that made us feel at home. Great service and great food. The service was so great that when they ran out of bloody mary mix they ran to the store to get more.

Fried green tomatoes with lobster was really good. I'm sure that's not what it's called on the menu.

I visit the Canton location and absolutely love it! If you really know seafood, you know how hard it is to find good fried seafood. They have some of the best fried scallops I've ever had! They use only sustainable sources so they're good for the planet, too. Because everything comes in fresh, the menu changes almost daily (aside from... More

I am not sure how I have gone this long without knowing about this restaurant's existence! FRESH seafood, with the choices constantly changing. They have a chalk board list on the walls of what they have available. There are plenty of options as far as fish, with oysters, lobster and other creatures available as well :-) One person in our... We've been twice and seated at the bar. Andy and Bash are excellent and great for suggestions on wine and food. We like the low country boil, grits and spinach. Great fresh seafood!

My favorite seafood restaurant in Atlanta! Chef and staff are amazing. Always fresh, sustainable fish prepared various ways. Swordfish, Tile, and catfish are just a few of my regular choices. Oysters are better here than anywhere! Hushpuppies - yum!! Best restaurant bar. It's a fun neighborhood place, small but not crowded. Parking is always a problem in VAHI area, but... More
