Fantastic seafood restaurant in Virginia Highland

The menu was full of great choices with sustainable fish dishes, shrimp appetizer had huge juicy shrimp. Entrees were delicious especially the blackened sword fish 😄 I will be back there again soon

The food was really good and we had nice service....the only drawback was the parking. Oysters were good and the NY Strip steak was well prepared.

Came hereast Saturday night for my niece's birthday party dinner. They were able to accommodate us in a large room. Starters were their pimento fritters which were served with toast. (Yummy) and I had the fried catfish with fries.

Ate here a few years ago when this neighborhood place first opened. I was unimpressed. Recently a friend told me it was excellent so we tried it again. Mediocre at best. Had the Coastal Cod which was described as being served with remoulade. It arrived looking blackened with no remoulade. My query to the waitress led to the answer that... More

We ate here last weekend for our 12th anniversary. We had reservations somewhere else and at the last minute changed our minds after seeing the pics on Yelp. Parking is very hard to find in this neighborhood. The place was crowded, that is not saying a lot because it is a small restaurant. The hostess told us it would be... More

Small restaurant delivers intimate feeling with casual atmosphere. Wait staff knows menu and we were glad we followed their recommendations. Had delicious oyster appetizer and monk fish main course.

We ate here on Thursday, 6/4 at about 8:30. I ordered the Monkfish, and they served me a bad piece of fish. I smelled it as soon as it hit the table. I didn't say anything. I didn't want to appear like I was misinformed on how this fish is supposed to be prepared. It's not like I ordered it... More

we ate here after reading all the reviews on Yelp and were not disappointed. we are from Chicago and as tourists are always hesitant to try someplace recommended by other tourists so we thought we'd trust yelp. the seafood was fresh and the drinks were very good. service was quick but not rushed and host was accommodating as we needed... We recently ate at Goin' Coastal with friends and family. All of the appetizers were delicious, and everyone enjoyed their main course. After dinner, we enjoyed a dessert platter, featuring a variety of delicious cakes and pies. The atmosphere was good, but not great. We were in a back room where it was somewhat difficult to hear each other talk.... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who read about it in the Lonely Planet book. At first I was hesitant about dining at a place mentioned in a tourist book but couldn't have been more pleased! The restaurant is located in a charming area and the food was fantastic! Loved the tuna appetizer!
