Definitely worth the trip... wish I lived closer. Owner is really nice, atmosphere is laid back and just the right touch of funky, and the food is awesome. Gypsy soup was great.. the menu was right...I did like it. :) Try the cucumber yogurt..just the right touch of spice.. The tea is perfect.... and the Baklava totally worth it... They... More

I liked a lot about this restaurant. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. The atmosphere was very cozy. The huge mural along one wall is fantastic. As a vegetarian, I appreciated all the vegan and vegetarian options clearly marked on the menu. The food was all very tasty as well. This would make a great... More

Ate at Sheik last night - wow! Itty bitty place that was packed to the rafters - we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table and glad we did. Friendly staff made our wait quite pleasant. We started with the small Chicote dip and, had the place not been so full, I would have licked the bowl clean.... More

Organic! Tiny dining room does not match the huge flavors! This place should go national! Enjoyed the tofu kabobs with a lentil sauce. The basmati rice was great and so was the yogurt sauce. Portions were huge. My husband and I split a plate and still left gorged! Funky artwork. On Peidmont. Easy to get to, but very small.

The small restaurant is in a run down shopping center, but don't be deceived because the food is delicious! I found this place through scout mob. I'm glad I went because the food is amazing! You really get a lot of food for the price. I got the Beef Sirloin Kabob plate, and it was yummy! I can't wait to... More

The waiter was friendly and very attentive. The place is small and kind of intimate. The customers are on the younger side. You can create your own burrito or select one of the menu items. We shared a red spinach salad and then had a Muka Marley and a Dirka-Dirka. The Muka Marley was so good that I ordered another... More

I'd go out of my way to get to this place. I visit Atlanta somewhat frequently and have to find a way to get here. The owner has always been there when I've visited, and the food is fresh, and I'm betting not bad for you. Good, interesting flavors. The place is very very casual, but very clean and comfortable.... I have passed by this restaurant (a small storefront on Piedmont Ave) a hundred times without stopping. Finally I stopped this week and so glad I did. It is a small restaurant but very comfortable and inviting place. The owner greets you immediately and seems to be very familiar with most people in the restaurant. The owner was very helpful... Delicious Persion food wrapped up like Southwest food! I always get the chicken one -- in the Persian flatbread. For $9.00 you'll have a delicious healthy burrito that is a meal in itself. Also, the owner is a super nice guy. Chit chat with him while you wait. I believe he used to be a chef at Nava, so he... More
