My wife, son and I read the rave reviews on Zagut and stopped here in transit. Although the pizza margherita was moderately good, the calzone was cold in the middle and the excessive ricotta made the calzone more rich than flavorful. There was only one beer, Peroni, but that was fine. It was crowded, but we don't understand the popularity.

OMG!!! The thin crust with the perfectly crisp edge, the freshly home made perfectly herbed sauce, the quality toppings... the TRUFFLES!!! (It was a special, I lucked out!). This pizza rivals the ones I've had throughout Italy, and frankly, it trumps Mozza in Los Angeles. IT IS AWESOME PIZZA!!!! I LOVE IT and want to go back to Atlanta just... More

Very good ingredients and lively communal atmosphere at this BYOB (or wine) establishment. Quality drops a bit on weekends due to huge demand- so go during the week if you can...

Talk about fresh ingredients and the perfect crust. The Margarita pizza was excellent. Adding the fresh garlic, olive oil, crushed red pepper and Parmesan put it over the top. Tried it first to set a baseline. Next time I'm adding the fungi (mushrooms) - I'm a vegetarian. My companion confirmed the meats are excellent and prepared on site. The seating... More

Went to Antico for the first time last week. I love pizza in Italy but can generally take it or leave it in the US. However, Antico pizza is a game changer!! The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The pizza was thin and cooked to perfection in a brick oven. We had the CAPRICCIOSA with artichokes, mushrooms, prosciutto, and mozzarella.... More

Went to Antico's for first time on Saturday after hearing everyone rave about it. We showed up 30 minutes prior to opening and waited by the door (since we had heard the lines get a bit long). Within 10-15 minutes, 30-40 more people had gotten into line behind us. 5 minutes prior to opening, 2 of the staff appeared with... More

Very delicious pizza, as I am a blister-the-thin-and-delicious-crust kind of gal. The pizzas and calzoni ARE quite good, and you will pay for that. A lot. The basic pie is $18 and feeds on hungry person, or 1.5 lighter eaters. Toppings run between 3 - 5 bucks each, so you can quickly ramp up the cost. You will also run... More

Great pizza, great ambiance/experience. Certain pizzas, such as the lasagna one, are quite unique. I love the spicy pizza, with peperoncini. The owners, Giovanni and Giuseppe, are friendly and fun.Pizzas come out quickly and while it may be crowded at times, they handle it very efficiently.
