Authentic brick oven pizza

If you can get past the cost of what Antico charges you will be very happy with this wonderful giant size pizza...Don't go alone as you can not buy single slices...A whole pie or nothing. At times they do not add enough cheese so I always ask that they put on extra. The calzones are a bit watery... read more

Best pizza I've ever had! Real Italian pizza not Americanized. Fresh ingredients and doesn't take long to make. It's not that expensive for the amount and quality of pizza you get; easily feeds 3 people. We went before closing on a weeknight and got the pizza in less the 5 minutes. We will 100% be going back before leaving ATL.

My biggest complaint is that there isn't one closer to my house! I try to go there for lunch as much as possible. Love their pizza! And coming from NY where i'm surrounded by lots of great authentic Italian restaurants, i gotta say, this ranks up there.

I was somewhat shocked to read some of the rather poor reviews for Antico's. We tried it over the weekend while we were waiting for the Braves game to start. We went based on various reviews and were not disappointed. I suppose for some if it isn't marble tables and diamond napkins they just aren't going to like it. So... More

Have to admit that I was skeptical at first sight, but upon first bite, it met the hype! Saturday, mid afternoon, not super busy at all, but quick service & amazing food! Loved it & so did the family! We have eaten pizza all over America & #1 is Lombardi's in NYC, this is a close #2! Yum!!!

Sorry but I soooo wanted to like this place more. The cheese is awesome but the sauce was "okay". I like my sauce more on the sweeter side than the sour/acidity type. For the price of a pizza once adding on toppings seems to be too much. I'm not sure why it was chosen as the best pizza in America... More

The crust, the wood fire, the tomato sauce, all other ingredients, everything is blended perfectly on the pie. Make sure you eat right away out of the oven.

Some places are considered "in." People go there no matter what the experience. This is such a place. Good pizza, but not worth the what has to be endured. Very crowded, very noisy, communal tables, no plates, napkins. (Paper towels serve as both plates napkins.) You can find pizza that's just as good, less expensive, and with a pleasant ambiance.

After reading about this pizzeria on several best pizza lists, I went here with my girlfriend and her family. Although the food was good (not excellent or in that ballpark), the atmosphere was terrible. The tables are wooden tops that resemble kitchen cutting boards. Since they do not wipe down tables between clients, and there are no plates, the sanitation... More

I had read all the hype about this restaurant and was really excited when I finally found time to go. I went with a friend in the early evening on a Saturday. The vibe was great but I was a little concerned when our pizza arrived within three minutes of sitting down. Sure enough, it was lukewarm. Obviously not made... More
