It was the busy lunchtime crowd, but managed to find a table in the hot dining room. Pizza arrived quickly, but not with a smile or anything else. Crust was burned in a couple of places. A bit pricey for the semi-self service you get here. The pizza was good, but not "out of this world" good. Don't think it's... More

Crowded hot noisy....and delicious. This is authentic pizza, hand made and cooked in front of your eyes. Be prepared to cozy up on the long tables in the warehouse-like restaurant. - it is definitely worth it. I have had a better pizza, but only in Tuscany. After you have eaten, pop round the corner for an ice cream in Gio's... More

We visited both Gio and Antica. We absolutely enjoyed the chicken at Gio. The pizza at Antica is on par with any f the other better pizza places in Atlanta. It's not as good as the pizza at Eataly in Chicago or New York but for Atlanta, not bad. The problem with these two places is the staff particularly the... More

Over hyped (trendy) Over Priced Over Cooked Very crowded Interesting you can't e-mail owners They got our order wrong & when we left I tried to voice my disatisfaction & all I got at the order desk was a shrug. Kind of like 'what-ever". Not worth the ride in from the 'burbs' Owners need to stay on top of the... More

Love everything on the menu - Diavola is my favorite because of its spice / heat. Thought the communal seating might be off putting, but it's not - it actually adds to the fun. GO!!

This place is as authentic as it gets. Traditional Italian ingredients mixed with a lot of love. The margarita pizza is amazing. A tried and true go to. A very social environment with family style seating. The ovens were actually imported from Italy. I can't say enough about Antico's.

We took a chance and asked Siri what is the best pizza in Atlanta and she directed us to Antico Pizza. THANK YOU SIRI . This place is a little hole in the wall near the college and we missed it twice driving by but finally we got in and we thought oh no this is a take out only... More

Simply stated...Antico's serves the best pizza I've eaten. Order your pizza at the counter and you sit at a community table in the kitchen where they make your pizza. You can even bring in you on beer or wine...how cool is that! It take about 10-15 minutes for them to prepare and you a dining on some of the best... More

A local recommended this restaurant, and I was glad she did. Great pizza, and I loved the family style seating. Was able to strike up a conversation with other diners and learn about more places to explore while in Atl.
