Of all the Thai places I've tried in Atlanta, I've enjoyed the service and atmosphere the most at Bangkok Thyme. The service is consistently friendly! Also, I love that this place serves Thai and sushi!

The food here is great and the owner is great too. My elderly father had dietary restrictions and the owner went out of his way to create a tasty dish that my father could eat. I usually get the Pad Thai and will sometimes get the Sticky Rice Mango for dessert. That dessert is so good, I feel like I... More

We live in Sandy Springs and have been going here for over five years. We have consistently had great meals that entire time. We especially love their sushi. They have creative rolls and they are well rolled and delicious. If your worried about the price, go between 5-7 any day of the week. They offer half priced sushi and $2... More

The food was just "o.k." and portions were very small for a typical Thai restaurant. The basil rolls were particularly disappointing, compared to other Thai restaurants in town. The "shrimp" was almost nonexistent. The shrimp and scallops in the main course were small and few in number. We shall not go back. there are too many other good choices.

Very Americanized menu- which means a collection of Thai, Chinese, Japanese. Hope it has Not a bad place to have a casual dine out. Service is very warm.

I took a job in Buckhead 3 months ago and have been trying to find the best Thai around. So far Bangkok Thyme is the winner. The decor is wonderful, but it's all about the food for me. My favorite dish is the spicy basil (Thai style where they grind the chicken). It is well-prepared and authentic. My only complaint... More

My rating is based on my wife's opinion. The food is quite authentic, perhaps a bit to much for me. Everything is well prepared and attractively presented. The menu is heavily tilted toward seafood naturally. Even I who find it a bit to authentic can always find something I like. But my wife who likes seafood absolutely loves it here.

Bangkok Thyme in the Sandy Springs area of north Atlanta is a delicious slice of Thai culture and cuisine. On entering the restaurant you are promptly greeted by Sakchai or Arounny, the proprietors. Immediately you are engulfed by the teak carvings which decorate all the seating areas. The stage is set to transport you to a far away world, preparing... More

The owner is always there. The food is always good, and the staff is always friendly. Service can be slow, but never seems to bother us. We go frequently. Check out early sushi/app specials - our son loves them.
