Decent Fish, But Too Heavy

We had a decent lunch meal here with very very responsive and friendly service. Food was reasonably priced and fish seemed fresh. But they need to have more options for fish and sides that are healthier and less oily.

Legal Seafoods is my place to go when I need a Whole Belly Clam fix here in the Atlanta area. So my son and family were visiting from CA and I thought I would surprise him with real clams. But alas, it was not meant to be. As we walked into the restaurant, we could hear people saying, "Where's the... More

Our server Brittany G was very informed about the food, and very professional. She actually gave us both a free cup of Clam Chowder to get us started! It was amazing!! I would have been happy with just the clam chowder! Huge pieces of clam- just perfection. We got the fried clams and fish and chips for our entrees .... More

I recently dined with 2 of my girlfriends at Legal Sea Foods in Atlanta after a previous reservation at another restaurant was abruptly cancelled. I loved that I was able to secure reservation at Legal Sea Foods at the last minute. The restaurant was very accommodating and provided us with excellent service. Our food was bought out quickly and was... More

I have loved Legal Seafoods since I was a kid visiting Boston in the '80's, was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a restaurant in Atlanta now, in the Hotel we were staying at no less! We went for a later dinner on a Tuesday night, and our table was ready right on time for our reservation. This is... More

We were a pair of couples downtown for a Hawk's Game and had dinner reservations at the Legal Seafood resteraunt. The place was better than expected being in the South and away from the ocean. I ordered the grilled assortment for 27.95, it was a chef’s choice of three fish (I believe I had salmon, tuna and a white fish... More

I love Legal Sea Food in Boston and what a joy to find it in Atlanta. The lobster roll was delicious although a little chewy at points. Since I was in the South, I changed my sides from the standard fries and cole slaw to cheese grits and braised collard greens. The greens were actually the highlight-they were a hint... More

My coworker and I attended dinner and had a fabulous waitress! I ordered the crab cake sampler. The crab cakes were just average. Lots of lump crab, little filling, but it had an odd mustard taste that was overwhelming. The scallops were awesome and the shrimp was average. I had the BEST mixed drink called he dead rise and it... More

My family and I only spent an overnight in Atlanta. This resturant was attached to the hotel we stayed in so we had dinner there, the food was soooooo good, we went back the next day for lunch before heading over to the Aquarium!

Great food, but ok service and very pricey. The menu at this location considering it is nowhere near the northeast. Wouldn't make a special trip, but it is near the aquarium and centennial Olympic park. Again, food was excellent . If 3.5 stars were an option I would pick that.
