The sushi was good. Creative if expensive. The atmosphere was modern and chic. There is often a disco in the back room I believe. The table smoked duck was delicious. Seems to be a place to see and be seen, but I wasn't sure who I was looking at. The service was confused, which was noticeable given the price.

We wanted sushi and definitely had some yummy sushi there. We decided to also try the option to grill some mushrooms ourselves. They bring out this little grill and we cooked a variety of mushrooms. Their grilled squid was delicious too!

Recently visited and just came inside for a drink. In the back corner, we saw Vince Vaghn and Ben Stiller hanging out and eating at the restaurant. Cool place to catch a celeb or two in the city.

I am a raving fan of this place. Do not walk, but run to MF if you want the best meal ever! Go on a Tu, Wed, Thur, or Fri if you want a chance to get good stuff. Great yellow tail, toro, and red snapper. If you go eat at the sushi bar and engage these sushi masters you... More

Bit pricey but if you love sushi and once you experience MF, there's no turning back. You will be completely spoiled by it's freshest fish and beautiful display of each plate. I no longer go to any other sushi restaurant. It seriously prevents me from eating raw fish at other places because I know what the freshest stuff should taste... More

I still give MF an Overall good. and Food: Very Good. but Service Poor and Ambiance from servers and owner on sushi bar Poor too. Needs better timing and more frills. Less attitude. Make the food = the experience. Used to be, but now almost gone.

Good vibe. Sushi bar is amazing. Sushi chefs are always friendly and very talented. The yellowtail appetizer is a must! Pricey!!!

Here's what happens when a group of eight people in various levels of inebriation rolls into MF Buckhead at about 20 minutes until closing time sans reservation: They are seated in a private room, and they all look at the menus for what seems like a very long time, but no orders are taken. Suddenly, dishes start arriving at the... More

We live in Mexico and we go to Atlanta a couple times a year on business, and MF sushi is always a treat, the freshest, best quality you can find. The owner, Kris, is always attentive. Try the robata and be open to the sushi chefs' suggestions, you will not be disappointed... I consider MF Buckhead one of the best... More

after reading the reviews of the Buckhead area sushi restaurants, we tried this first. loved it. tried Taka (which was ranked over this).... it was good, but not amazing. we came back to MF Buckhead for our last meal in Atlanta. Very fresh, excellent service and roomy.
