Still The Same - And That's A Good Thing

Sure it's nice to go to a brand new club or restaurant, but it is also comforting to go somewhere that you've forgotten and find that it is still the same. We just went for drinks on the patio after cruising the Chamblee antique shops, so I can't speak for the food. But the ambiance, service, music... read more

Reunion gathering at this location was very enjoyable. The room was small, so it was fortunate we could spill over onto the patio. Probably did not fully appreciate the amenities, but it was a great choice for the reunion.

We had not been to the 57th Fighter Restaurant for several years but went a couple of nights ago with some dear friends. We had a wonderful experience. It was just like we remembered it from years ago and absolutely as good!! Curtis was our waiter and did an outstanding job of taking care of us. The food was delicious... More

We've been going to the 57th Fighter Group for years on balmy Saturday evenings to have a drink on the outdoor patio and watch the private planes land. They always had big band music playing (either canned or sometimes a band), which was a pleasant background. However, about 2 months ago they started hiring a DJ to play more modern... More

Our 10-year-old grandson is a WWII fan which brought the family there for dinner. The website had encouraged us to come based on the promised decor, biplane rides, airport view, etc., etc. We didn't spend any time researching the food as our expectations were very low in that regard. Immediately upon entering, our expectations regarding the theme/decor were more than... More

When the two combine you get a happy diner. Specific items our group ordered included shrimp creole, NY 12 Oz steak,, prime rib and fried shrimp. Everyone was more than happy. Service was good and so was their beer by the bottle selection. Fun stuff

My friend and I decided to dine here after researching a couple of different places online for Sunday brunch with mimosas. The place was quite busy, but very neat. The decor is of war/airplanes/bomb shelter/military feel, which was very cool. I sat in the back indoor patio area which was nice and had a great view of the small planes... More

We had lunch at this restaurant last week... The atmosphere is enchanting - World War 11 vintage and decor, and the view overlooks the Peachtree/DeKalb airport. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. There is a more formal dining area, another bar and dining area with a dance floor, and also an outside patio dining and bar area with fire... More

While the menu may be a bit limited for some, the food is good and prices are reasonable. The WWII theme is well done. You can sit on the patio and watch the planes arriving/departing PDK airport, and if you're luck the bi-planes will be there too. Service was good and the waiter was very personable.
