Gotta try the Beer Cheese Soup

Great soup for starters. The steak I had was perfectly cooked and service was good. If you are into aviation or WWII, this is your place. We sat at the lounge area and watched the planes take off and land. Great time at a great restaurant.

We arrived for my father's ride in a biplane. Uncertain if this restaurant offered anything we all could agree on. Sure enough it did and more. Great service, atmosphere and the decor (theme) is out of sight. The World War 2 era come to life. Well worth a trip simply to watch the lane takeoff and taxi. Get yourself to... More

What a cool restaurant. Located on the run way, offers perfect views of planes taking off and landing. But the decor and atmosphere was even better. The food was stellar and the service was awesome. Had the chicken & andouille sandwich and I will be back again!

I ate at this restaurant in the 80's on date-night with my boy friend. I went back these decades later and not much has changed. The atmosphere is really fun. There have been some good updates with expansion of the patio area and more WWII memorabilia. Food-wise, the fare is still so-so, but pricey. I had the chicken with cheese... More

I made reservations as a surprise for my husband on Father's Day. When we arrived it was an hour after they opened for dinner. There were very few diners in the dinning room. When we were seated, the hostess walked us past empty tables in the front room to the last table in the back in the corner of the... More

we go to Sunday brunch when family comes to town. And we go for normal menu lunch on the spur of the moment. The kids like listening on the earphones to the tower talk to the pilot taking off and landing. Great atmosphere.

I was extremely pleased with the excellent food and service I received today during lunch. I have been to this location to watch the planes and to have drinks, but never before had lunch. The food was brought out within a reasonable time and was delicious. I was with a party of 10 and everyone was happy we chose to... More

My wife took me here for my birthday. She had gone several years ago with some business associates and I had always wanted to go. I am a WWII buff so it seemed like a neat place as she described it. My wife had arranged for five other couples to meet us there but when we arrived everyone was seated... More

The restaurant is located on the side of an air strip at Peachtree Dekalb Airport. The building design is modeled after an officer's club in the WWII era, complete with vehicles and airplanes outside. The indoor is peppered with photos and memorabilia from the greatest generation and you even hear Winston Churchill speeches in the bathroom. Must try the beer... More

I'll start with the positive: the food was excellent. My husband's steak was slightly overcooked but otherwise delicious. We strongly recommend trying the beer cheese soup. And the Mac and cheese was delicious. And you got a lot of food for the price, which was not cheap but not terribly expensive. It was fun watching the planes arrive and take... More
