Extremely romantic restaurant, fine dining heaven

Had a very special date night here and absolutely loved it! Perfect vibe, a bit crowded, but that's understandable since the food is to die for! I tried several new items but that night the Artic Char was divine!

My husband and I are Foodies. We lived in Southern California, but moved to Tennessee 2 years ago. We are frequent visitor to Asheville, NC to enjoy there delightful food. Hands down, this is the best restaurant! Everything was amazing, the food, presentation, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere were perfect. This restaurant is a must, if u love real food that... We wanted a special place to celebrate our anniversary, so we chose Bacchanalia based on its reputation. The service was impeccable, low key but attentive. In fact, I would recommend that other high-end restaurants copy the service style of Bacchanalia. As we ate early (5:30) on a weeknight, the restaurant was not noisy or crowded. So, the vibe was excellent.... More

Very nice restaurant with terrific staff. Even thought the place was full, we could carry on a normal conversation. We had 4 people total, had 2 drinks(not each), and a total of 7 of the wine parings with the different courses (2 people had 2 and 1 had 3), and the bill was $700 after tax and tip. That was... Atlanta Georgia - business trip - three VERY food conscious friends and I was the evening organizer. Did the usual Tripadvisor, Michelin, Zagat , and local concierge listing map for best food and top 10 city chefs. Then I added chef owner and farm - to - table criterion and selected Bacchanalia. Website is very helpful. What happened is nothing... More

Exceeded my expectations! Impeccable service, unbelievably creative and delicious food, not at all pretentious. This is the only restaurant that could compare with the likes of The French Laundry or the Inn at a Little Washington. The only negative was the high noise level.

The food was good, but the service was the best we've experienced anywhere. It's definitely a special occasion kind of place because of the cost. Definitely worth it though.

Had an amazing anniversary dinner at Bacchanalia. Food was exquisite, service impeccable without being pretentious. One minor imperfection, my main course could have been served warmer but was still delicious.

One of the best restaurants anywhere. We've even been to Victoria & Albert's but they do not hold a candle to Bacchanalia! They are pricey but well worth every dollar. We left so stuffed we could barely walk but were so happy with this find that we didn't care. Oh we will be back again and again and as much... More

This restaurant will definitely take a place in my list of top 10 dining experiences. The prix fixe menu with five courses (providing at least five item choices within each course plus numerous additional treats gratis throughout the meal) and the perfect wine pairings were exquisite indeed. Although the venue was elegant and professional, staff were most friendly and attentive.... More
