We visited the this restaurant on a night so busy that they could not even answer the phone for reservations. We decided to go any way as we had an expiring coupon that we had bought and even though it would have been within their right to refuse us they "under stress" worked us in and they where very nice... I took my two kids to Sun In My Belly a couple weeks ago. We got there a little late so we had to wait about 15 minutes for Sunday's Brunch. There are three rooms there. Each one different from the other. Clearly whoever decorated the place had a good time. It's got all kids of neat stuff hanging all... More

My friends brought me here for my birthday and I must say that I enjoyed myself and the food. I love the home feeling of the location.

We started with the shrimp and grits and I thought it was delicious. The shrimp were coated with barbeque sauce and served on cheesy and buttery grits, accompanied with spicy sausage and toast. I then ordered the Belly Benedict which is served on sweet potato hash browns and garlicy greens. Awesome! The greeter and our server were very friendly and... More

We have been to this restaurant before, and always had a great experience. This time the service overshadowed the food. We ordered wine. Then we ordered salads. The salads came, but not the wine. After complaining, the wine showed up. They were out of the trout on the menu, so they substituted it with scallops. After three of us ordered... More

This is a unique place near Decatur. The place is cozy and comfortable. The food is very good. the menu is fresh seasonal. My friends who do not usually eat vegetable's cleaned their plates. We also had an excellent server. The manager also came by several times to check to us> A great night out

Two recent visits -- late afternoon "brunch" and New Years Eve dinner -- were both very satisfying and relaxing. The brunch (just me and my adult daughter) favorites were the egg dishes -- cheesy scrambled eggs and an omelet. The relatively uncrowded New Years Eve meal was perfect -- food, wine, service, atmosphere. We had scallops and lamb, with a... More

We went here last night for a nice nite out without the hustle and bustle of a large chain. The food and the service was excellent. Honey had the salmon and I the short ribs. Yum! I will say that I didn't care for the "Lucy" salad (though it came recommended as the house fav) or the banana cream pie... More

We were looking for a good place for NYE for a family of 5, with 3 small children. Never heard of this place but liked the menu and it was not far so gave it a try. What a gem ! Service was fabulous, everyone was so friendly, fast and truly like a family, the food was fantastic, real soul... More
