We had a terrific breakfast here before we left Woodstock to head south to Massachusetts. Good selection. Delicious maple sausages. It was a good mix of tourists and locals which is usually a good sign.

The poor lady serving here was overwhelmed when our coach party descended on her one lunchtime. All the sandwiches are made to order and the line was out the door and up the stairs! I was luckily first in line and my Turkey sandwich was very good but those after me had their order virtually thrown at them and the... More

Went there for lunch and and very wisely had single serving of maple/walnut ice-cream. Four scoops! Best ice-cream we've ever eaten. Only downside was very slow service.

Small, had to wait for a table but SO worth the wait. Fun waitress (Tina) who entertained us with witty banter. Food was excellent, soups are awesome. HIghly recommended. Home made ice cream, too, but too full to sample them.

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Fortunately it was a nice day outside. The restaurant was full so we stuck our head in the door to place our name on a waiting list. We were quickly instructed to return outside to wait. The service was adequate but not very prompt or personable. The food was what you would expect... More

At the Mountain Creamery on Central St, go down short flight of stairs and join the line waiting for ice cream. The ice cream and waffle cones are homemade and selection of flavors is awesome. It was the best maple walnut and pistachio (you know it's good when color is white not the artificial green) ice cream ever! It's on... More

It's worth coming here just for the ladies who serve you - they are just great. Be warned - if you have the apple pie or the chocolate brownie, you won't want any dinner! The blueberry pancakes I had for breakfast were delicious.

Five stars for the ice cream! I had chocolate, by which I judge all ice cream makers, and it was outstanding. Rich and almost dark, with a full flavor and creaminess that one would expect at a fresh creamery. I double-checked with the server, who informed me that he had made the ice cream himself. Yum!

I went here with friends over Columbus Day weekend. It was packed, but well worth any waiting we had to do (we came right at 11:30 for the first lunch seating). I got a tuna melt with the most amazing fresh apple sauce, and my friend got a grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was delicious. We went back to... More
