Mountain Creamery is not only a creamery, but a small restaurant as well. Very TASTY and reasonably priced. I can't really comprehend not finding something there to eat and enjoy.

Stopped in for lunch in this beautiful village. Our waitress was very cheerful and bouncy as well as accommodating. Had a fantastic chorizo and kale soup with 1/2 a sandwich. We had not indulged in dessert for a long time but seeing the "Mile High Apple Pie" on the menu we could not resist. In for a penny, in for... More

The first visit was for breakfast and to get oriented to the area. Visited with some through hikers from the Appalachian Trail, regular customers from the area, and the charming waitress. The food was cheap and filling. Large portions and extremely fresh. We tried the french toast, the hash, and a wonderful veggie omelette. Add in the great coffee with... More

My tourists have had the sandwiches and pies there, I have enjoyed the ice cream. Very popular place for people from all areas of the world and the Life magazine has rated the ice cream as top notch.

Variety of homemade ice cream served up on hand rolled waffle cup or cones, milkshakes, banana split, smoothies, sundaes. Better than Ben and Jerry's! Selection of scratch baked pies and pastry's by in house chef. They also have a selection of breakfast items omelettes, pancakes, waffles 7-11:30, and lunch 11:30a.m.-close soup, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pulled pork and beef.

All around sounds much better on paper than actually turned out. Only person that raved about his sandwich was my son (roast beast on marble rye). Vermont goblet blah. Turkey salad had odd taste (not Hellmans mayo? Which just might be a taste thing). Potato salad sounded great. Not very good. Turkey soup probably the highlight of the meal. Didn't... More

We've stopped in at Mountain Creamery many times over the years, but today's lunch was particularly good and worth reviewing. Our choices were simple -- a ham sandwich for Madame and a bacon cheeseburger for me, followed by maple walnut ice cream shared between us -- but absolutely delicious. The burger was done to order with beef that comes from... More

It's not a diner, but that's the vibe you get. All your basic breakfast favorites. I had scrambled eggs (huge portion - had to be more than the advertised two eggs!), very good maple link sausage, excellent home fries (also huge serving), sourdough toast with yummy homemade jam. There's one young perky waitress giggling up the customers, one middle-aged one... More

The soup was homemade and the sandwiches had really lean ham slices. Tina the waitress was friendly and helpful with local information. This is a great find for "real" food.

Food was good but $70.00 with tip for 4 people is a lot!! Coffee was good. Service was good. Breakfast costing more than lunch? We had 2 omelettes, 2 pieces of French toast . 2 pancakes and one. Side of bacon.we tried to go cheap but not here!
