Delicious Home Made Ice Cream

We did not go there for food but for the ice cream; made right there on the premises. Two of us had the pistachio and it was the best they had ever eaten. I had the toffee crunch and it was wonderful. There was plenty of ice cream on the cone, like about 2 plus scoops, and we ate it... read more

Been coming here for years whenever we're in the area. Best ice cream I've ever had. Amazingly creamy. Homemade waffle cones. Come hungry.

Stopped in while in Woodstock. The special of the day was a hot pulled ham sandwich. I've had pulled pork before but never heard of pulled ham. The sandwich was hot with melted Swiss and coleslaw. Very good. Also had their apple pie with their homemade ice cream, of course. Warning, a bit pricey for lunch. And they only take... More

We ate a quick lunch here one day, and had to come back to try more. The lunch wasn't particularly amazing by itself, though their pulled ham sandwich special was delicious. We loved the Mile High Apple Pie, since it was gigantic, not too sweet or sticky, and the crust was just right (thick, not bland, and slightly under-baked). The... More

What a great place for breakfast! Wonderful staff, very personable and great omelets and sides as well. A bit old, but I think that just adds to the charm.

This is a must meal in Woodstock. I first ate lunch here a couple of years ago and definitely will go back every time I visit Woodstock. I had a half-swiss on marble rye and a cup of tomato basil. It was wonderful. I topped it off with two scoops of home made ice cream. One scoop of salted caramel... More

Almost five stars. The soup was homemade as was the ultra thick apple pie and ice cream. Well situated in town on the second floor. Decor is country dated but super friendly staff. They also gave great suggestions for local attractions. I would definitely return.

Stopped here on my way home from Killington. On a Tuesday, this was one of the only options open for us. We were really glad it was! Delicious, simple breakfast. It's a small place, so I image this fills up quick on the weekend.

Loved our breakfast here. The eggs were fresh as can be, the service was fabulous, and you get local flavor. Coffee could be better, but you can't have everything. Highly recommend.

Nice on a cold winter day although not the warmest place - old building so charming but drafty, nice view of the busy street with large windows. Excellent ice cream made onsite, ditto for soups. Had the half sandwich and soup one day and although usually a whole grain person, I was tempted by the made-onsite white sourdough. When the... More
