Nice salad

Went for lunch at a very busy time when Woodstock was heaving with people looking at the autumn colour (as we were). So service was a bit slow, but food was good.

This place is a great little local place. Sausage and many of the food items are grown and produced locally. We liked the place so much went twice in the two days that we were in Woodstock. Breakfast portions were huge including Waffles, Pancakes, French Toast and Wonderful omelets. The serving staff was excellent. April was especially helpful and provided... More

Stopped off in Woodstock en route from Stowe. Woodstock is nice but very touristy. Found this place for lunch. "Hostess" lady was not very pleasant or friendly - place was cramped and busy and we had to wait outside on the steps as we were a "fire risk" inside! We waited and in the end the food was fine but... More

To be fair...we were told, after waiting forever to be seated, that they were short staffed and that the infamous tour buses of foliage lovers had dropped off far more customers than they expected...so...things were not going to go smoothly. To cut to the review of the food, the food was great although at 11:33 AM we were told pretty... More

If you have claustrophobia, don't come here. It is crammed inside, which seems to really rankle the NYC'ers and Boston'ers who don't want to wait outside til a table is ready. But the breakfast was delicious, with some really incredibly good coffee...woke me up.

Just the kind of place we love to find. Friendly service and hearty homemade food. My wife loved her soup and sandwich that was available on gluten-free bread. My roast beef sandwich was perfect, just the right ratio of beef to bread and toppings. Will certainly return.

We loved this place. I have no idea if it expensive as some suggest. I never worried about the price- the food was so great - it was worth whatever price was charged. Loved the rustic atmosphere and the servers. We had two breakfasts and lunch. We never had to wait - but if we had to, the meals would... More

The restaurant is on street level. We went downstairs for ice cream. Maple nut and pumpkin was recommended by our tour director. That is what I got. It was sooooo good!! Ice cream does seem to be a bit pricey!!! It was good though!

This is our go to place for breakfast when ever we visit Woodstock. We've enjoyed large heaping portions of eggs and pancakes (the blueberry is my favorite). The muffins are delcious too. But make sure you go back later because the ice cream is not to be missed.
