For the Second time this Summer I found myself in Woodstock, Vermont and decided to dine at the Kedron Valley Inn and Tavern. Just like the last time, it was a very enjoyable experience. The dinning manager remembered us from our previous visit and helped us to be seated on their beautiful patio (with an incredible view). From there the... More

Lovely spot on the front porch. Had a few apps before dinner. The charcuterie plate was extremely expensive but hysterically small and the sausages were nothing to write home about. Food was just okay. Salmon special was especially bland. Two of our party had steak which was rather touch even though it was medium and medium rare. Won't be going... More

Lovely setting, excellent service and way above-average food. Would definitely return. There aren't a lot of sophisticated restaurants in the area, but this one is worth a drive. Prices were comparable to large cities, worth every cent.

We had fond memories of a dinner on the porch at the Kedron Valley Inn at just about this time last year. We understood the restaurant was under new management (and with a new chef) this year, but decided to return for dinner on a perfect early summer evening. Our food was quite good: a shrimp risotto special and grilled... More

The Kedron Valley Inn sits on a quiet corner of Route 106 in South Woodstock Vermont. Dinning on the porch is an experience in itself, coupled with a terrific staff and wonderful food, it's the best place to dine in the area. From a simple diner of Organically grown burger and an ice cold IPA on tap to gourmet delights,... More

We really enjoyed the Kedron, which in our opinion is the best restaurant in the Woodstock area. We visited in late May and ate outside on the beautiful front porch of the Inn. It was al fresco dining at its best. The chef uses lots of local products and the menu is very fine american comfort food with a contemporary... More

My wife and I were traveling through the area and received a glowing recommendation from someone in the peaceful town of Woodstock to try the NEW Menu at the Kedron Valley Inn... and they were spot on! The new menu and vibe of this restaurant was amazing! We enjoyed the "House Special with local ramps". My wife also had some great... More

We stayed at the Woodstock Inn but ate one terrific meal at the Kedron Valley Inn. The Inn is just south of town and has an interesting and historic vibe. We enjoyed this more than the more corporate feel of the Woodstock Inn. We met the new chef, who used to run the kitchen at the Reluctant Panther in Manchester... More

Do not try and visit after 8pm or you will incur the wrath of folks in the restaurant. Tried to go in at 8:15pm with a posted closing of 9pm and they made a federal case out of it. Should change closing time to 8pm. They had to check with the chef to see if he would serve us?? Must... More

I ate at the restaurant during my stay at the inn and found the ambiance there to be fantastic. A small, cozy tavern with candles and a nice fireplace. The service was friendly and attentive. The food is a bit on the pricey end and I would describe the quality as "good" rather than great. All in all, it's a... More
